The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. These were beings who lived to tease and manipulate humans and gods, sometimes falling in love with them, sometimes chasing them to the ends of the earth to capture the man they wanted.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!

Poisonous Flower

Poisonous Flower

"Luna Rena is an orphan, and you're her only family, Alpha. Maybe you should go home and see her?" Immediately, Louis' expression darkened. What the guard Adrian didn't know was that he hadn't been home in days. His first love, Lily, had been studying abroad, and only returned to the pack after being poisoned by wolfsbane. From that day on, Louis had spent every waking moment by her side. When he found out that my bone marrow fluid could cure Lily's poisoning, he forced me to donate it. What he didn't know, however, was that I was already pregnant. I couldn't possibly sacrifice my unborn twins to save his first love.

The CEO and me

The CEO and me

I smiled at the thought. I was passing by a luxurious jewelry shop, displaying one item in their show window that made me stop. Behind the thick glass, in a pale pink background, a necklace was displayed. What caught my attention was the pendant, shaped as a lotus flower. It immediately reminded me of Irene. 1 Lotus flowers. They bloom in the mud. I had read somewhere that it symbolizes purity and perfection. The flower blossoms in the mud, but its petals emerge clean and bright. Much like it, Irene had preserved her goodness of heart and candidness through the ugly dark times she had been through.

Aphrodite

Aphrodite

"Honestly, Master? I find them frightened. They seem so dark and poisonous. They are not the usual brightly coloured flowers that will put a smile on every person's face." I heard him hum, my eyes looking over the flowers, "I collect the most rare and beautiful items, Aphrodite. You are a part of this said collection. Many of your kind have fallen into slavery, because of persons with mindsets such as the one that you have regarding the flowers. Let us compare ourselves to flowers, shall we?" he paused for a brief second, not waiting for me to say anything else.

LunaLola-The Moon Wolf

LunaLola-The Moon Wolf

, I shouted through our mindlink. I held Fay's hands and closed my eyes after taking a deep breath. I imagined I was in a field that had different flowers. I passed different shades of flowers, which represent different areas of her being and looked around for the one that signifies being joined to another soul. I found a garden of lotus flowers. There were white lotus flowers but they were being tainted by withered lotus flowers and it was only a matter of time before the remaining lotus flowers wilted away. I plucked out the wilted flowers and watched them dissipate into thin air. I placed my hands over the lotus flower and watched it become prettier and healthier.

Mafia Boss’ Indebted Slave

Mafia Boss’ Indebted Slave

Zamir Trian Cassano's Point of View In Greek mythology, Aphrodite is the goddess of beauty but in my eyes, Claudia can beat Aphrodite however she likes. They say, Aphrodite could provoke desire and Claudia does that to me from the moment I've seen her. Her eyes were captivating as if I was in a peaceful stream of gardens filled with white roses that symbolizes innocence and purity, red roses that symbolizes unending admiration and romantic feelings toward someone you love and sunflowers that are known to be as a sign of loyalty and adoration.

There were golden yellow, palette yellow, white, orange, an pink. “Woah, talk about a daffodil craze.” she remarked. “To tell you the truth, your ladyship, it was almost impossible to grow any flower in the underworld especially because of the absence of the madam.” “Really? TWIN ALPHAS' Moon Whisperer

He met my eyes and I felt melting, so I stared at his chin instead. "Well, it's the lotus flower. It symbolizes purity and enlightenment. The lotus's ability to rise above murky waters and bloom beautifully is what draws me to it. There's nothing sad about it, just pure admiration." He gave my hip a gentle squeeze. "You seem to have so many questions today, mate." He lifted my face to see my eyes and thumbed my chin. "And to your unanswered question, yes, we had shared a woman before."

Reincarnation of my competitive spirit

they said in one voice and very loudly. It was known that the golden lotus flower had a special character in the southern clan. It was also the first treasure that the southern sect had possessed since the southern sect began to grow and develop. In the world of martial arts, legend has it that the golden lotus flower was made by the great Jimmy XIII, the leader and founder of the Jimmy XIII mountain, which he named after him. He used the power of the sun, sacrifice, and was supposed to symbolize the sun's rays because of his very luminous radiance under the bright sunlight. Legend says that the golden lotus flower can bring out tremendous powers far from any powers that humans have ever see

Mated To The Lycan King Who Can’t Let Go

"Explain." The word rushed out of me before anyone even breathed, and I scanned Levi's face instantly—looking for jealousy or pettiness, or some kind of possessive rage. None. Just seriousness. Evan burst out, "This is a flower that grows deep in the forests of the northern continent! Constant exposure to the scent causes hallucinations—kills a person slowly through madness!" He grabbed the entire basket and hurled it outside the tent. "It's called a Lotus Bud."
