My hand covers the baby's mouth. Cold air hits our face as we make it outside, but we have wolves on our tail. Tripping over my own feet, I land and dropped the little girl onto the grass. Her cries echoed the open field around us, and we were so close to the trees. The sound enchanted me as much as the little girl.
