I flipped through the menu, my fingers grazing over each page like it was a treasure map — pistachio gelato with candied rose petals, strawberry pavlova, honey crème brûlée, golden tiramisu… everything was impossibly beautiful.

The table soon looked like something out of my dreams full with colors, glass plates, towers of sugar and cream. I didn’t know where to start, so I started with all of it.
The first scoop melted right in my mouth and I giggled happily like an idiot.
Was I in heaven?!
Each bite was like a tiny piece of happiness I didn’t know I needed.
