I never knew love could hurt like this and I started wishing to never know what love is. The unbearable pain made me long for someone to hug and comfort me. I began calling upon my father's name, seeking refuge and solace. The hurt ran deeper than anger. The realization that I was in danger at the hands of my own mate shattered my heart.
