My Husband's a Liar (And I Can Hear It)

My Husband's a Liar (And I Can Hear It)

I hope you have a happy life, Alice. … One year later, I lay on a lounge chair by the sea, basking in the sunlight. The zombies were completely eradicated, and humanity no longer had to hide. We had lost a lot, but humanity had never lacked the courage to rise again. In the distance, I saw my husband, Daniel Stacker, waving to me. He held up a lobster in one hand and asked, "Honey, do you want this steamed or grilled?" I sat up and stretched lazily. I walked toward him, and we shared a soft, tender kiss.

Dawn

Dawn

No one can dally, because, in each second that passes, there’s someone sacrificing their life out of duty and love for their family. But Farah and all the people are just humans. No matter how hard they persevere, they will undoubtedly run out of energy. In love with a vampire

In love with a vampire

It felt as though time was slowing down with each second elongating like a drop of molasses in the freezing night air. With her assailants rusty blade drawing ever closer Eleanor felt her heart hammer in her chest a dull throb that echoed in her temples. She was unable to move or scream because she was so enthralled with the threat that she kept her gaze fixed on the jagged metal. The desperation in her mind to run fight or do something was met with resistance from her legs which were as heavy as lead. She was immobilized by a visceral unadulterated fear that led her back to her most basic instincts. In a self-defeating defensive reflex she briefly closed her eyes bracing herself for the wor

Abandoned Boyfriend of the Apocalypse

Abandoned Boyfriend of the Apocalypse

I remembered the first day of the apocalypse when cities turned into hell on earth as the streets filled with screams and blood. I remembered the countless deaths I'd seen over the last three years. The elderly, the children, my comrades, and those strangers. I remembered the people who were killed by their loved ones because of infection, and those who turned into zombies in the depths of despair. "I'll do it," I said. Uriah was so ecstatic that he almost jumped out of his chair. Iris merely nodded, as if she had expected my answer all along. In the days that followed, I became the research center's most special "guest".

The Zombie King

The Zombie King

aking the next morning, this is a warm body next to me. Lacey. Last night was one hell of a surprise. I’m not complaining because I enjoyed every damn second of it. I was having a hard time holding back. My sexual urges are stronger now, especially around the only girl I’ve ever loved if love is the right word to use. The verdict is still out on that one. Can a sociopathic zombie be in love? Stranger things have happened, right?

"Lydia, you saw it, too. When I heard you scream, I ran over immediately. I still love you." Lydia shook his hand off. "Get away from me." "What do I have to do for you to forgive me? I really didn't mean it back then. It was instinct. You can't throw away years of what we had over that!" They had been together for many years. When the zombie outbreak happened, they were traveling on the plains. That was when Kevin proposed. Lydia said yes. Later, they made their way to Ark One and survived the apocalypse with a few close calls.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Beauty and the Mafia Beast

Beauty and the Mafia Beast

“To convince you, brother.” “Don’t waste your time,” Zeke says. “Go on with your hunger strike.” She steps closer. Not toward him. Toward me. Something presses under my ribs. I try not to show it. Run, my body tells me, but my feet don’t listen. “I love him. I love Vincent,” Luzia says calmly. “And I want to marry him. Love’s not a crime, is it? Sometimes you fall for the enemy. It doesn’t change the world at all.”

Love on Loan

"I don't need you to do anything." "Bruno, you still don't get it," I said slowly. "I stopped loving you a long time ago." "I'm in love with Lorenzo. I love him." His pupils constricted, his face turning deathly pale. "You..." "Impossible. You can't fall in love with someone else that fast," he said, frantic. "You loved me for ten years." "So what?" I sneered. "You trampled on me for ten years." Hearing this, Bruno completely lost control and lunged, trying to drag me away by force.

Heartbeats of Love

Heartbeats of Love

Victor reached for me again. "Come with me, Zoe. Believe in me. As long as I'm alive, I'll protect you—all of you." It was as if I had touched a deadly virus. My ability lashed out at him. Victor's eyes widened in shock, and he instinctively released my wrist. I took the chance to step back two paces. "Zoe, have you completely lost your mind? He's a zombie. Do you really expect a zombie to love you for real?"

Love that Kills

Love that Kills

"What if that's the only chance we have to survive?" He shut his eyes and muttered, "It's all pointless if you can't survive." I swallowed down a lump in my throat. "I trust you." I stretched my hand, my fingertips tracing his cheek and lower lip. "I love you." He drew a deep breath, and when he opened his eyes, they burned with savage fire. He lowered himself and pierced his teeth through my skin. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. He embraced me, holding me tight as he pushed his teeth deeper. I moaned, and, God help me, it wasn't because of pain. I shivered, shamelessly flooded by arousal, as he sucked my blood. A growl rumbled in his chest, and I could feel him hardening agains

Frequently Asked Questions

'Love is Undead' stands out by blending horror with heartfelt romance in a way that feels fresh. Most zombie stories focus on survival or gore, but this one dives deep into emotional connections. The protagonist isn’t just fighting zombies—they’re falling in love with one, challenging the idea of monsters being irredeemable. The zombie retains flickers of their past humanity, creating tension between fear and affection.

The story also avoids clichés. Instead of a bleak apocalypse, it’s set in a quirky, half-ruined world where zombies coexist uneasily with humans. The humor is dark but witty, and the romance builds slowly, making the stakes feel real. The zombie’s gradual rediscovery of emotions—like remembering a loved one’s favorite song—adds layers most stories ignore. It’s a mix of eerie, sweet, and unpredictable.
