Love Like Cherry Blossoms Novels & Stories

Alice rubbed her cheeks wondering if they were still red. There was an undertone of excitement in the air surrounding her. The plastic cherry blossom tree, with its pretty pink flowers, was looming above them, and for a brief moment, Alice wondered exactly how much paper would have been wasted for making this tree. It wasn't the most appropriate thought for the situation she was in, after all, she had just been kissed.

His words pierced her, her heart threatening to betray her, but then the past surged back like a flood: years of humiliation, rejection, and loneliness. The wounds were still fresh, etched deep into her. Her lips parted, and though her voice cracked, it carried the weight of truth. “I’m not like you, Alex. I can’t navigate love the way you do, picking it up and dropping it whenever you like. You can fall for anyone today, then walk away tomorrow. Your love…” She paused, fighting to steady her breath, “…your love is like cherry blossoms. Beautiful when it blooms, dazzling even. But once it falls, what remains is just rotting mud.”

She loved the explanation the lady of the house gave her… this flower… known as cherry blossom symbolizes the everlasting friendship and love in a life that is fleeting. She tried to reconstruct the picture in her head as she started to work on the design. For the suit coat, the whole of the cloth was embroidered branches filled with cherry blossom flowers; On the left flap of the coat, slightly on the side of the chest she embroidered two love birds resting their heads together. It’s early afternoon when I settle beneath a beautiful tree at the park. In spring, this place is breathtaking—full of blooming flowers and a few imported Japanese cherry trees. They’re my favorite. Cherry blossoms have always felt like a symbol of life and new beginnings. Something I needed to see after last night... and this morning’s terrifying— Dream? Is that what it was? A dream? Or a vision of what would’ve happened if I’d waited to call the police?

The Goddess did really put in her all when she was creating them. As we wandered deeper into the orchard, we came across a grove of cherry blossoms, their delicate pink petals fluttering like confetti in the wind. Carlos's eyes were filled with passion as he explained the significance of each flower. But most times I was busy being marveled by the beauty of the flower to listen.

Surrounding it was a ring of tiny diamonds of the same high quality. It was simply stunning. This was something I had made myself. The pink diamond had been a gift from Benjamin—a token of his love—when we'd first gotten together. That day, when he confessed to me, he'd said, "My love for you is like this diamond—flawless, pure, unique, and irreplaceable." I was elated, and I smiled coyly. "You promised it's one of a kind. So, now that you've given it to me, you can't give one to anyone else."

Rushing around frantically, I searched for her in the last direction that I'd seen her go. It felt like I walked for ages but finally, I knew she was near because suddenly the storm swirled away into the distance, then ceased. The snow was melting and as I trudged toward her, shivering and frostbitten, she stood in a beautiful, lush garden. Moss and chartreuse grass grew before my eyes. She turned to me, and I was bewildered when koby-pink cherry flower blossoms began to fall at my feet, covering the ground. I reached out for the cherry blossom and held it. The branch broke under my grasp, and everything turned frigid.

Kyoko tugged Akiko’s hand again, and reflexively, Akiko caught a falling cherry blossom petal in front of her. After some insistence, Akiko finally followed Kyoko’s quick steps. But her eyes couldn’t stop darting around, enjoying the pink petals floating through the air. Clearly, Akiko wanted to walk slower and take in the breathtaking scenery. It wasn’t every day she could visit Nishinomaru Park, home to about 300 cherry blossom trees, all blooming at once. Spring arrived as promised, bringing with it all its melancholic beauty. Akiko liked summer, but the two weeks when cherry blossoms bloomed in spring almost rivaled the joy she felt when summer came. The sight was too beautiful to ignore

Julia held my hand and said, "Don't worry. The islands nearby may not be particularly rich in resources, but we can always manage to get some supplies." I looked at the sky. It was a fine and warm day with a gentle sea breeze, yet I was inexplicably very uneasy, overwhelmed by my instincts that something big was about to happen. The cherry tree on the hillside had already had some flower buds and would bloom in a few days. Noah said that when the sea breeze blew, the entire island would be surrounded by cherry blossoms. And those moonlit nights would be even more romantic. Hanging a small lamp under the cherry tree while enjoying the moon was a scene to remember.

Abby It was a warm spring day, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, casting a soft, pink hue over the entire park.
