Slowly I turned my back towards the meal and continued to shout for help. The sound of a squeaking door made me stop. I looked in the direction and I realised that there was another hidden way into the room. "My poor Luna," the voice called mockingly and I immediately recognised who it was, it was my Stepmom. My mouth flung open in astonishment. I couldn't believe she was behind this. "Why are you doing this?" I questioned but she struck me hard on the face. "No question!" She ordered. "I prepared your favourite, you shouldn't starve… as the new Luna of the great town of Colleen," she said with sarcasm and turned me around, bringing the meal closer to my face.

"Luna Arianna left the estate late last night and has not returned. She was seen leaving by the night guard. I tried to follow her trail, but it went cold. The clues showed that there was someone with her…she might be in trouble." "She left last night?" I repeated, panic entering my heart. She was probably upset about the conversation we had last night. What if she ran away? Or worse, what if the other scent with her was someone who was with the Hansen pack? "Does my father know?"
