Hoping that one day I'll have someone to cherish and love. Moving swiftly to where my book collection was, I picked one that was titled, 'Perfect Chemistry' by Simone Elkeles. The love story of Brittany Ellis and Alex Fuentes is so beautiful. Two people from two different worlds falling in love has to be the most endearing sight ever. Maybe one day I might experience such love, until then I need to pack up these books before Natalie gets here. Putting all the books in a box, I checked the time on my phone and it was past 4 pm. I decided to wash up before she got here.

After taking her packages back to her car, she decided to visit the nearby library until it was closer to dinner time. The serene ambiance, mixed with the energy of the authors who put their imagination and thoughts into a format that the world could enjoy had a calming, yet invigorating effect on her. She thought she’d pick up a light romance to pass the time away with, but found herself diving into a book about haunted houses instead.

It's not really working but I smile through the sadness anyways, because this time I'm not alone. Even though Liz judges me, I appreciate the fact that she's here. "What does she have that I don't?" She may hate me for it, but I will love the moment just as much as the last everytime the baby is placed on her chest. As I start to work, my thoughts drift back to the book I’d been reading earlier. Those marked pages, the glimpses into Dhalia’s heart, remind me that love isn’t about grand gestures or expensive gifts. It’s about the small, everyday things—the moments that might seem insignificant to others but mean everything to the person you love.
