Lucifer Descendant System Novels & Stories

he inquired, his eagerness evident. A smirk played on her lips as she averted her gaze. "I did miss you," she confessed, a hint of vulnerability coloring her admission. Sensing the moment's gravity, Lucifer shifted his position, settling comfortably on his throne. Lucinda, ever confident, took her place on his lap, their connection unyielding. "So, have you discovered anything new about the humans recently? What are they up to?" Lucifer inquired, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and mischief. Lucinda's eyes gleamed with hidden knowledge as she responded, her voice filled with intrigue.

he looked at Ryan and gestured for him to continue. "Lucius already has an heir to continue his legacy of madness. We captured a rogue when we were investigating the missing children. He doesn't know about those kids, but he knows that the army never dissolved. When I got the crown, Lucius announced his heir. He was not related to him by blood because he had already lost his mate, and no children of his were registered with us. That rogue informed us that Lucius's heir was more ruthless and intelligent than him. Now their army comprises more than one species". Ryan is looking way more serious now. "He told his name, didn't he?" I asked him. Ryan nodded at this, and somewhere I also knew what

With a flick of my wrist, I conjured a glass of hellfire whiskey and dropped it into my father's hand. "Why are you even here, Dad?" I asked, unable to keep the exasperation out of my voice. Lucifer took a sip of the whiskey, savouring it for a moment before answering. "Can't a father drop in on his beloved daughter without an ulterior motive?" "Not when that father is you," I retorted. "And especially not when you show up unannounced in the middle of... well, you know." Sebastian shifted uncomfortably beside me. I could feel the tension radiating off him in waves. It was almost amusing, seeing the normally composed vampire so flustered.

I laugh loudly and my wolves perk their ears in my direction. "Alright, right to it then," I whisper before clearing my voice to begin. "As payment for all your losses and pain. I formed a line of Lycans. These Lycans will be your descendents. Each will be male and each will be immortal. Each immortal king will have a mate. Only with their mate can they produce the next King. You shall hopefully, never watch one of your male descendents die of old age, but I can not promise it.

I begin but he silences me with a look. Axel produces a syringe from his bag and draws a thumbs worth of Ryker’s blood. I stare at it. It looks exactly like mine, there’s no discernible difference, and yet I know it contains Lycan genes, while mine contains nothing but duff ones. Ones so shameful even my own father hid me away. I shut my eyes and a flash of it, of all the blood splattered on the ground, splattered from my mother’s throat, appears as if I’m right back there and I jerk, just as the needle goes in.

"I have... legacy access. It’s like the system recognizes me. Like I’m a ghost it hasn't quite managed to delete." Lucien moved quickly, catching Kael before he hit the deck. He looked at the boy—really looked at him—and saw the dark, spiderweb veins creeping up Kael’s neck. "You're burning out, Kael. This 'precursor' status... it’s not an upgrade. It’s a parasitic tether. The more you use it, the less of you is left." Kael let out a dry, ragged laugh, clutching Lucien’s coat. "Better to be a burnt-out spark than a flickering bulb in the Directorate’s lobby, right? Was that the line you used to tell the shareholders?"

Thousands. Maybe millions. The representation layer had not recovered children. It had recovered every continuity organized around Elena’s family. Older Elena whispered: “This is not family expansion.” Current Elena stared at the crowd. “What is it?” The older woman looked terrified. “Protagonist inheritance.” Silence. “If centrality cannot remain with one Elena…” “…the system is distributing it through descendants.” Root’s face went white. “Heritable narrative priority.” Exactly. Every descendant could become a new center.

I am part of the market research team, and that requires me to be on the streets instead of in-office, but with my team being useless, I do most of the work because if the team doesn't deliver results, I am stuck with the elephant that will likely cost me, my job. Lucifer's tech is the best engineering company there is. Their smartphones are ten times better than Android and iPhones. Longer battery life and a network that won't drop you in your time of need but the worst part about them are that they freaking expensive. Like wireless earphones and smartwatches, they most likely to cost half my paycheck.

"Maybe you just handed me something way bigger than patrol schedules. Her parents, what were their names?" "Thomas and Lucia Laurent. Found her in the woods next to their bodies." The coin stopped dead. "Lucia Laurent?" he repeated, voice weirdly quiet. "Yeah… why? You know her?" "Know her?" He laughed, but it wasn’t a happy laugh. "Selene, you clueless idiot. You have no idea what you just gave me." My stomach dropped. "What do you mean?" "Lucia Laurent was a direct Moon Goddess descendant. One of the last pure bloodlines." His eyes were shining like a kid on Christmas. "And if her kid survived…"

For the maker to say that the man and woman would die only if they eat the fruit from that large tree meant one thing: They could not die, they were immortal. Lucifer stared at the two creature holding themselves together and his eyes flashed red. He would not let this two species who are beneath him with no special skills or special features have the same privilege as he has. He will watch them command and take possession of a garden they did not deserve. He will make sure that they do not enjoy the benefits of the garden and make their lives very unbearable. All he needed was a plan. At that moment, his eyes darted to the largest tree in the garden right at the middle. A devious smile form
