Archie’s Point of View “So, what are we thinking?” Narc asks, plopping on the couch in front of me, but my mind is somewhere else. I can’t fathom how the fuck an eighteen-year-old is the only thinking thing that could give me what I need. “She’s a child.” “Well, she’s also the only woman at this point who can give you that heir.” “How many has it been so far?” I ask him, without even looking back at him. There’s a bit of silence from him, and I turn to look at him.

She smiled faintly, regal to the end, then turned and left with the grace of a woman who'd once ruled without falter. When the echo of her heels had disappeared down the corridor, a second presence remained. Lupercus. Still leaning against the carved marble wall, with his arms crossed. "She's coming around," he said quietly. "She has no choice," I replied. He grunted. "No... but it helps that she actually likes the girl." I turned to face him, drawing in a breath. "What do you have?" "Progress," he answered, finally pushing off the wall and walking closer. "On Narine's genealogy."

Darius wiped his mouth and placed his entwined fingers together on the table. “Yes, we do business with him once in a while despite his horrible records,” he told her. I felt like Annabeth had succeeded in pushing the spotlight away from her and I quickly blurted out a question before I could stop myself. “Who is Lucius?” The corners of Darius’ eyes joined and I knew he wasn’t happy with the move I had just made but I didn’t care. I couldn’t keep quiet and watch Annabeth get away with what she had done to me and my emotions. It was traumatic.

Narcissa grinned wildly, "Mark my words, If I ever have the opportunity to finish what I've started, then believe me, I will. None of you will ever see the light of day again by the time I'm finished!" "Ironic then," A deep voice intoned, "that I will deliver to you everything that you deserve as well." Lexi's face lit up with a malicious light as Narcissa whirled to face the large figure that emerged from the shadows behind her. Narcissa froze briefly before her face contorted in a mask of terror. "NO! How are you here?!" "Supporting my daughter to seek vengeance for the sister that life chose for her," Lord Brarthroroz chuckled darkly, "Whilst also seeking a little vengeance of my own."

"Run scum. Run coward!" The creature gave a guttural yelping of laughter filled with malevolent spite as Father Francis left the room shutting the door. Then, it turned its gaze at Father Lazarus. It dropped gradually to the ground hissing. "Let the enemy have no power over her and the son of iniquity be powerless to harm her, hear my prayer Oh Lord!" The Father reached up his hand and traced the sign of the cross, slowly, on her bow while he continued to read from the text of the Ritual. The hissing ceased and was replaced with a nerve-shredding lowing of a steer.

He never took a step towards Harriet when she called to him. "Lucius!" I yelled. "Look at me!" He jerked, yet he did not raise his head. It hurt more than the silver. Rylan was beside him, whispering lies in his ear. And Lira--forgery, weakness, and impersonating me-- swung all at once and threw herself in the arms of Lucius. "Lucius... I feel faint..." she whispered. Lucius whipped and fell on her, his arms round her as though she were of wood.

I said, hoping to wake him up. "No matter what you do, there is nothing you can do to wake his consciousness. He is under my control and he will forever be," Nerissa said. Lucia was so mad, she mumbled something while her eyes were closed and the next moment, the ground shook, and a huge white snake was then around her. "White snake, huh? You think that big pet of yours can do something to me?" I wasn't able to watch Lucia's next actions anymore because Orion was busy giving me consecutive attacks and if I would lose my guard, just one lash of his lighting sword and it will surely be the end of me.

This was Lucius. Once Arius got close enough, Lucius turned to him, a smirk playing on his lips and in his eyes. His sky blue eyes were full of a sick kind of bloodlust. He wanted to destroy this planet, to shed the blood of the creatures living on it. He wanted nothing more than to annihilate everyone and everything he came across. A creature so grotesque had to be destroyed.

"Damn it, I'm in trouble. I don't think these clowns are going to pay for it either." The shopkeeper points at Lucia and Clarisse, "how about those two? Aren't they with you?" Zane gasps… Lucia walks forward and drops exactly the amount told by the shopkeeper. She then says, "there you go, mister. Apologies, my master here is quite broke," Lucia kindly and gently said. The shopkeeper came to his senses and was surprised, "Lu-Lucia Monesy?! And...and Cla-Clarisse Krix?! The battlemage of Etheria and the knight of Esperia! A pleasure to meet you! I'm Grucius," the shopkeeper bowed.
