she asked with a ghost of a smile touching her pouty lips. Of course, how can he forget that? The Canadian Luck Tradition! According to the Canadians, the number 13 is called to be unlucky. Thirteen is considered an unlucky number and most Canadian apartments, hotels, storage units and parking lots will not have a 13th floor, locker, or stall. Friday the 13th, in turn, is considered a uniformly unlucky day and people will usually avoid scheduling important events, such as weddings or plane trips, on it. Everything regarding number 13 seems to have a bad impact on them. And as Darby's date of birth is 13th November... he faced some difficulty in the Luck Tradition party.

Andrew asked while standing up, Lucky didn't hear him at all and gave two punches on his face so that his nose started bleeding, “ You Bastard... ” Suddenly his two brothers also came inside and rushed up to him, Marry frowned seeing three men jumping on Lucky, however, he wasn't looking afraid at all as he positioned himself well and punched one brother with his fist and kicked the other one so that both of them fell aside while moaning in pain, “ Marry, you don't have to be afraid, okay, I'm here, I'll protect you, ” Lucky said excitedly while she was still in dilemma but she nodded,

Dex could come up with that kind of ridiculous idea in the middle of the shareholder's votation. Even if it was true that I have hidden feelings for my best friend for eight years and counting, what does it have to do with the result of the votation? "Twelfth vote goes to... DISAPPROVED!" "Thirteenth vote... another DISAPPROVED!" "Fourteenth vote... another DISAPPROVED!" Everyone in the room was put into a deafening silence when the vote came to seven against seven. Whatever was written on the last piece of paper decides Dylan's fate in his dad's empire.

"And Christmas is coming up fast. But remember, wishes don't always come true exactly as we think they will. Sometimes they happen in ways we don't expect." Malaya nodded thoughtfully, then closed her eyes as Laila clasped her hands gently. "Ready to pray?" "Mhm." "Dear Lord," Malaya whispered solemnly, "please bless Mommy and my grandparents and family. Please let me get all the toys on my Christmas list… and please let me get my Christmas wish. Amen." Laila chuckled softly. "Care to tell me what your Christmas wish is, nugget?" Malaya's shoulders curled inward. "I… I don't want you to be mad at me."

Perhaps. Was it worth it? Yes. With a chuckle, I stood slowly, and the room quieted without command. Even the TV seemed to hush. From my jacket pocket, I pulled a leather-bound book, aged in the way you can’t fake, with corners worn and scent of cedar. I handed it to her without flourish. “What is this?” she asked, eyes scanning me, soft but curious. “Open it.” She flipped the cover. On the first page, hand-written in gold ink, were the words: Three Wishes.

Not only could I put up with it, but I could even smile through it. "There's no need to give it back. If the token of our love is something that can be lent out, then I suppose the title of husband is up for grabs as well. In that case, allow me to be the first to congratulate you both." I locked eyes with a stunned Jessica Tuttle. "Ms. Tuttle, since you're generous enough to give away something I worked so hard for, kindly return the 50 million dollars I put up to save your company."

Chapter 1 Luck is known to be a fickle creature appearing and disappearing at a whim, though there are those so-called fortune's favorites who seem permanently in her favor while others seem just as equally misfortune's favorites cursed with bad luck. I must remember to recall that Lucky is ten years younger than me and just in her early twenties, for that I must compensate. “This is Lucifer, he is her brother. Same Sire.” I explain as she strokes Aphrodite’s nose. The horse bows her head over Lucky’s shoulder for a hug. Lucky kisses her cheek.
