Episode 20 Lucy appeared close to the Witches cave, staggering and supporting herself with the trees, she found her way to the cave but tripped over a fallen branch of tree and fell. She couldn't pick herself up as she was hurting from Sarah's kick, a kick from a Damphir wasn't ordinary as it seems. Travis walked in almost immediately and saw her laying helplessly under the trees, supporting her with his hands, he picked her up and took her to the Witches chants room.

"Why don't you visit your babies? I know you miss them." "Maybe next time, uncle." I smiled "Thank you for taking care of my cars." After my talk with my uncle, I ran back to my class. Jenny smiled immediately when she saw me walking towards her. "Lily, where have you been? We're having our final review." Jenny asked me I sat next to her "Principal's office just for some important matters." I glanced at Jibee and Rose studying together "Nini, call the priest." Jenny frowned "Why? What's wrong?"

After I was completely ready, we both went to the dining hall where everyone was waiting for me. When I reached there everyone looked at me with visible joy. I sat down to eat my special breakfast made by none other than my beloved nanny Lucy. But before I could start eating everybody started clapping. I kind of felt embarrassed but I guess their happiness was pretty obvious because I was the first commoner ever to get admission in that school. Then at a distance I saw the headmaster of our orphanage placing a stool and standing on it.

Right now, she had changed into a comfy gown, not something nice and expensive but something decent and comfortable for an evening dinner. She held Abel in her arms while Marcus held Cain. They all trudge into Simon's pack, "wow, I like it here," a rogue girl among them called Lucy muttered. She was between the age of five to six. "Don't get too comfortable dear, we don't belong here," her mother muttered as they strolled into the packhouse. Sabrina sighed before knocking on the huge entrance of the packhouse. The door pulled open and a lady came into view, she seemed dressed like one of the housekeepers. "Who do you want to see Madam?" She muttered politely.

I was confused, but I couldn't get to the bottom of the issue. I found Lucy's class and stood at the door without going in. There I saw looking out the window. There were circus branches outside. I opened the door and entered. And I asked then. “Where are you looking?” Lucy shook her head and said. "Anything." I sat down next to her and asked. "Will eat anything?" “Yes, I ate some fruit.”, she replied to me. I asked softly. “Are you leaving the hospital later?” “Yes, I’m going home and resting for a few days.”

Who saw my art when no one else did. And now, I was watching her slowly fall apart from a distance I had created. --- The next morning, I walked into the kitchen and found Lucy there, pouring cereal into a bowl. She glanced up at me. “You look like a haunted Victorian ghost.” “Thanks,” I muttered. “Barbie’s not awake yet. She had a long night.” I hesitated. “What happened?” Lucy looked at me, serious now. “You’ve been so wrapped up in your fear that you didn’t notice she’s been crumbling.”

Never made her feel left out. 'Good things are never meant for me' Lucia thought. She moved towards the bed and she sat down. She searched for the pendant inside the bag but she couldn't find it. Lucia panicked. She threw everything inside her bag on the floor and searched for it. She sighed in disappointment. She must have lost at the party. Lucia considered her lucky at least she didn't lose the memoir. She opened the paper and looked at the handwriting that she was very familiar with for years. She caressed the words with her fingertips as she read them aloud.

The both of them walked towards the main entrance of the mansion where several other girls were trooping in with excitement clearly written on their faces. Lucy hesitated and took a deep breath in and out before walking into the mansion finally. The place was huge, huge and beautiful. "Oh my!" Madeline squealed excitedly. "Take a look at that vase" she pointed to a vase that was seated a little bit towards the corner of the room. Madeline was the biggest fan of things like this, old antique vases and other antiques but Lucy was completely uninterested in things like that. "What vase?" Lucy groaned.

Bella said with a shrug, interrupting him. Lucy chuckled and stated, "Mr. Willow has been a fantastic person to me." Lucy was middle-aged and had a bit of wrinkle around her eyes as she smiled at the children. "Angle has been an angel," Lucy added with a chuckle at her own use of words. Lucy had been with them since the death of Brad's wife. "Are we guessing about Amber?" Ava asked, looking at Brad through amused, narrowed eyes. "Hunnm, no..no." Brad replied.

Lucy scrutinised my face. "What are you trying to say?" I asked, feeling a little uneasy. "He is in love with you, girl. Can't you see?" Lucy asked me, sounding like an old lady. "You are mistaking love, Doctor Lucy," I replied, trying to be light-hearted. Lucy left shortly after our conversation because she had a class to attend. Lucy and I have been friends for a long time. I have never considered her as my maid. She is a hard-working orphan who does minor jobs to help herself in school, and I respect her for that. She is the only friend I feel comfortable around, and we talk about anything.
