I have questions, and I need answers. Pushing open the heavy wooden doors of the library, I am greeted by the familiar scent of aged books, a comforting aroma that fills the air. The shelves loom before me, their contents an untapped well of knowledge and wisdom. I scan the room, my eyes darting from aisle to aisle, searching for any sign of Lucy. And there she is. Hunched over a desk, her attention divided between a book she's reading, and a stack of papers scattered across the table. Her eyes dart back and forth, and a playful smile graces her lips as she flips through the pages.

Eva was busy arranging work in Thriving Dragon Bay while Sophia helped her to check the accounts. It was then that the butler came to report to Eva. “Mrs. Langley, Miss Lucy is here. Do you want to see her?” Lucy Quill? What was she doing here? Eva frowned and informed the butler to bring Lucy inside. Sophia left as well to give them some privacy. Eva was left alone in the living room. Lucy walked in quickly with some gifts and placed them on the table. When she saw Eva staring at her, she immediately smiled. “I’m here to see you, Aunt Eva.”

She shook her head and decided to cook for them and then go and call them. Lucy lived in a huge mansion, but she never had any regular house help at home; she liked to work all on her own, cooking food and cleaning for her kids. It felt like she had been doing all these things for a long time. She even used to work hard at the office. “What are they doing?” When she could not take it anymore and ended up going to the room to call them. But who would have thought that she was about to face the terrible scare in front of her eyes?

When she saw a couple of vampires standing at the edge of the garden she ducked down and stayed completely still. "Damn traitors," one of them hissed angrily. A light knock came on my door, and I knew exactly who was behind the door. I had scent the person even before the knock came in. Struggling a bit from the bed as I made my way to the door and just as I opened it, there stood Lucy, smiling sheepishly at me in a white and blue designer top and a black mini skirt, with her favorite black boots. Lucy is the only person I was close to and could talk with aside the other girls of my age living in the pack. She entered into my room the moment the door was opened. Closing it as I turned my back towards my bed, but I was stopped mid way by her loud defeaning scream.

“Yes, Carlisle.” Nodding, he smirked and gave me a small squeeze before pulling away. And as if on cue, Erwin’s door opened, revealing a woman in a blue daycare uniform of kitten patterns, she has her red locks tied in a bun, and her glasses made her face look more adorable, covered in freckles and with a gentle smile. “Good evening, sir.” She greeted, then she looked at me. “Good evening, ma’am.” “She is Lucy. She’s the younger sister of Erwin’s preschool teacher who’s babysitting him as a part-time job. She works here from 1 pm to 10 pm.” He introduced, not even gesturing or looking at the girl who waved her hand at me.

Future heart breaker, that one. However, beside him- hugging her father’s pant leg was little Lucy, just shy of three years. She was shy in everything in all honesty, especially in her voice. The poor girl was practically mute and it certainly didn’t help that her father scared away anyone who so much as looked at her either.

Her face was filled with bruises, the area around her eyes dark. She had this pale look that I had seen countless times, and I felt a cold feeling. “You came,” a voice muttered, and I turned in shock to find a blonde-headed girl sitting at the corner of the room. One of Lucy’s things sat beside her as she wiped her wet face. “I’m Susan. Lucy’s friend and roommate,” she muttered, and I nodded quietly.

C3: THE KING'S QUARTERS Waking up, Lucy blinked her eyes as they tried to adjust to the sunlight coming from the wooden window in her room. she yawned her hazel eyes dull as she stood up and went to take her bathe. stepping into the mini bathtub she could barely stretch her leg, she missed taking her bathe in her large bathtub as wide as a pond. Lucy sighed, scrubbing her skin after a while she came out with a robe.

Grace sighed deeply, while I sat frozen on the couch, my mind blank. The woman in front of me smiled sweetly as she extended her hand, but there was a clear challenge in her eyes. "You must be Florence Lambert, right? I remember you’re Pierce’s little niece. I’m Lucy Snow. From now on, you should call me Aunt." Aunt? Trembling, I reached out my hand, utterly shaken by everything happening before me. But Lucy grabbed my hand tightly, squeezing it hard enough to make me wince in pain.
