Diego took a breath and looked at Luna Claudia who seemed to be in awe. “The last time we came here, you almost got killed by the guards. I am curious to know how you are going to manage to get out of this alive this time.” She said, and Mario chuckled, shaking his head at her as he did. “You know, I noticed that you seem to enjoy underestimating me a little more than necessary lately. While I do understand your anger, I do need to note that I am not the man that you should direct your anger toward. Especially considering the fact that I am not your enemy. I am aiming to help your son and with what I am doing, potentially keep him alive.” Mario said, and Luna Claudia scoffed.

"But boss..." The way he said it made my blood turn to ice. "What happened?" "Antonio and Luca are still there. They're fine, but..." Mario's jaw clenched. "Lauren's gone." The words hit me like a physical blow. For a moment, the world seemed to tilt sideways, and I had to grip the car door to steady myself. "Gone how?" My voice came out deadly quiet, the tone that usually made grown men wet themselves. "Julian Blackwood," Mario said, spitting the name like it tasted poisonous. "Walked right into the hospital with armed backup, surrounded our boys in the hallway. Made it clear that any resistance would result in civilian casualties."

But then, the things they talked about before I left was catching my attention. Who the heck was Don Luigi? Never heard of that name before. If he was someone who worked inside the company, then maybe I would know about it. Or if he was a client that Ricky was approaching, then I would know too. But I never heard anything about this person. I tried to search for that name on the internet but only a cartoon character came up, Luigi the Super Mario's twin brother. Okay, that was a stupid move.

November 15th "Bitch!" Luca cried as I knocked his Princess Peach character off a mushroom during a heated match of Mario cart. We’d returned from the Megestanis house just before Leo got home. He was now in his office as I thrashed Luca on the Wii. "Try not to cry too much," I replied as I moved into first place. A few seconds later I crossed the line and claimed victory. I immediately shot to my feet and threw my arms into the air.

Bruno's men fought their way through the building, and soon they reached the main room. Bruno and his team stormed into the room, guns blazing. De Mario and his men were caught off guard, and they quickly fell to the ground, dead or wounded. Bruno and his team advanced on De Mario, who was the only one left standing. "De Mario," Bruno said. "It's over. You're finished." De Mario smiled. "Is that so?" he said. "We'll see about that." De Mario raised his gun and fired, but Bruno was too quick for him. He ducked behind a table, and the bullet whizzed past his head. De Mario fired again, but Bruno was able to dodge the bullet again.

"What's happening?" It took several seconds before Mario's distorted voice came through. "SIGNÒRE!" His voice was high and unsteady. "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" The line disconnected for a moment as static interrupted it. "BY WHO?" Antonio roared impatiently. "...asking of you!" Mario's voice kept glitching. "He said he'll blow up the place if you don't show up!" "WHO?" Antonio asked again. "Leonardo!" Mario yelled just as the sound of a loud gunshot blasted through the speakers.

He greeted Lorenzo with a broad smile, unaware of the trap closing around him. Then, sharp gunfire split the air, freezing everyone in place. Guns came up instantly, tension spiking like a wire about to snap. Gio and his men swarmed in, surrounding Mario, Lorenzo, and their crew. Their weapons leveled straight at Mario as they began hauling away crates—billions' worth of goods—right before his eyes. The color drained from Mario's face. He glared at Gio, hatred burning through his shock. Lorenzo's expression was no better. "Don Brasco," he said coldly, "this is your grand preparation?"

Maria dished out some food for me, and I thanked her. Just then, the sound of approaching footsteps met my ears. It was Rodrigo. He took his seat in his usual spot just opposite me. Maria excused us with a polite bow. I lowered my gaze and began toying with my fork and pasta. “There's something I saw online about Luigi that I've meant to tell you.” He paused and then looked at me as if to say go on. “I saw a video. They said he was spotted moving around somewhere in town,” I said, shifting uncomfortably in my seat.

I just cast it aside, "Nevermind that, I thought Eion can't swim? And he acted strange earlier... he said something about heart disease?" Mario's eyes bulged out of its sockets, he almost choked at this. "Wow, hehe, I never knew he was now a joker." "I know right?" I punched him lightly on his shoulder. I looked behind us if he was in danger or his manager was present. Spotting him nowhere to be seen, I grinned and turned back to Mario. "Can we eat some...mangoes with that fish sauce-bagoong and Durian while we talk?" "Sure, ma'am." He agreed. I raised my hand to high-five him. Good boy.

There was a bigger player here. Eugene was a puppet himself. But who was this mysterious puppet master? “Holy shit,” Mario whispered. “’Holy shit’ is right,” the captain agreed. “Thank you, Mario. Please get the team on the scene to find that camera and analyze if there is any other footage on it.”
