Luka stared at me for a long time. The silence stretched between us, thick and uncomfortable, broken only by the sound of April’s heavy breathing. He shifted his weight, the wood of his chair groaning under the pressure.
“Yeah,” Luka said, his eyes narrowing slightly as he studied my face. “Aren't you angry with me?”
