I tremble even more than the cold water is now pooling on my feet while I watch Wyatt’s wide eyes locked on me. My trembling hands point the gun at Luke, and he smiles at me. They both stand up and Luke places his hands up in front of his chest. “You’re not going to do this Blake, you’re my sister, Leia would never forgive you,” Luke says and at the same time the door opens and The Reaper walks in. His mask is shaking wet and so are his clothes. The gun pointing at Luke and I take a deep breath.

Mia screamed happily, she ran to Luke and stood in front of him without daring to hug him. "You came!" cried Mia again. Luke nodded with a nervous smile. "I'm watching you, you know that right..." Adrian whispered to Leah, only joking of course, but Leah quite understood that Adrian was still jealous of Luke's presence around them. Luke approached and greeted Leah, Adrian, and Ming. "Mia told me everything, did your plan work?" Luke asked Leah. Leah nodded, "Yeah thanks to Mia, Ming, and Adrian," Leah replied, smiling naturally.

“Your men are looking for you. They’ve been told you’ve been released, but there’s doubt among them. They need to see you in the flesh to believe it. Lyra asked me to call you.” Luke stepped forward, his demeanor calm but authoritative, as always. “Thank you, Beta Rowan. I appreciate the message.” I took a small step forward, placing a hand lightly on Luke’s arm. “Rowan, this is Luke,” I said, my voice steady. “Luke, meet Rowan. He’s… he’s like a brother to me.” Rowan’s lips quivered into a small, knowing smile. “Brother might be a bit of a stretch, but close enough.” He extended his hand toward Luke. “It’s good to meet you, Beta Luke.”

I’d have his hands permanently on me, if I could. Leia finally stopped running as we reached a small lake, with a heavy flowing waterfall. But before she could brace herself, Roman came charging at her and knocked her over. They rolled around in the grass for a while, subtly nipping and cleaning each other. They then decided to participate in their own form of mating and I, for one, did not feel the need to experience that. Nate showed me how to block them out and we spent some time chatting about our plans whilst we were here. Nate told me he had some surprise planned for tomorrow and to say I was excited would be an understatement.

She could only force herself to retort, "Leonard, stop asking! I really didn't lie to you!" She looked up at him, tears streaming down her face. "Leonard, you're not scared, are you? Ray stuck two fingers in his mouth and let out a loud whistle to get everyone’s attention. Once everyone quieted down, he continued. “Leah is dead set on ‘doing her duty,’ and mating with this guy. I don’t know if I can convince her to not go through with it.” Francesca propped her right foot up on the couch, pulling her knee up to her chest and wrapping her arms around it. “Well, if she feels she doesn’t have a choice, then you won’t be able to change her mind.”

I patted her hand that wasn’t holding the steering wheel. “I know baby what’s even exciting is that, we are all meeting today, with his sons.” Then the confusion rolled in. So I asked, “Sons?” “Yes Shannon, my mate is Robin, the Alpha of the Dark Moon.” “What?!”

“It won’t happen again! I’ll change!” “It’s too late,” Lyra said coldly. Kaelen froze. Lyra stood up, meeting his gaze. “You know, Kaelen, at first, I truly did look down on Elara. I thought her background was lacking, that her nature wasn’t ruthless enough to be the Luna of the Black Stone Pack.”

The Moonlight glimmered softly, reflecting off Lunaria’s glowing silver skin and Kael’s golden eyes. Breathing heavily, Kael lowered his hand from her shoulder. “You fought well,” he said quietly. Lunaria exhaled, letting the adrenaline fade. “We fought well,” she corrected. “Together.” Her wolf purred softly, sensing the connection between them. Stronger. We are stronger. Kael studied her, eyes searching. “This bond… it’s more than I imagined. More than I deserved.” Lunaria met his gaze evenly. “Then stop imagining. Start proving it.”
