I grabbed Axel’s hand, blinking at Celestia as if to prove a point. Even if she found a way to make my life miserable during our classes, just for today, I loved that she would be reminded that until Axel changed his mind and paid me the compensation f*e that he owed me, I was his fiancee. Celestia forced a smile on her face. “Of course not, Luna. Why would you think that? It’s just…the classes I have with Chloe, we have not talked about it yet—” “It can happen after she gets some food to eat, can it not?” Luna asked, her tone piercing. “It is not like you have somewhere to be.”

“You said you couldn’t stand how cold she’s become. I’m not like her, Alexander. I’m not hard. I’m not distant. I love you.” He exhaled, touched my cheek. “I know,” he murmured. “You’re everything Aurora isn’t. That’s why I’m keeping you here. That’s why I’ll make you my Luna—soon.” I closed my eyes at the words, letting them wrap around me like silk. That’s what I wanted. To be the Luna. The real one.

Her eyes widened. “You are going after the monster?" He tilted his head. “More like we are waiting for the monster to fall into our trap but I believe tomorrow, we are going to catch the monster and then, everything can return to the way it was. We can finally start a family without wondering when the monster is going to strike next and I can finally wed you and make you my Luna" Her eyes widened and she was saw he saw the dreamy look in her eyes. “I can't wait, I can't wait to become your Luna and carry your pups but I'm scared, Zane. I don't want you or anyone getting hurt" He smiled.

His father tried to reason. As they spoke, his mother walked into his office. His mother, the luna of the pack, Caua Wolf was a woman in her early fourties. She was only a little over five foot which made her very short compared to her husband and son. She had long brown hair and brown eyes that shone whenever she spoke. She also had very soft features. She was a caring mother and a kind luna. All the people of the pack love her for her good heart, and Rodriguez loved his mom more than anyone else.

It was the perfect plan. She turned away from the mirror and sat back down on the bed, thinking about how she would approach Xavier. He would be difficult to seduce at first—his loyalty to Arianna would make him resistant. But she could be patient. She would offer herself as a friend first, a confidante. Once he began to trust her, she would start planting seeds of doubt, making him believe that maybe it was fate that brought her to Winter Moon. That maybe, just maybe, she was meant to be his true Luna.

I reply. “I’m Charli, and most people treat me okay. I guess. I know I’m not like other boys and I find boys more attractive than girls,” the pretty little boy says. “I even have a boyfriend, sort of. He’s two years older and told me no one can know he kissed me, but you are The Luna and my half sister, so…I guess if you don’t make a mess of anything, because I really like him.”

To protect ourselves, we shut off people. I remembered her stories about them being the Harry, Ron, and Hermione of the Southshire Academy. Luna is the kind of girl who is hard to be hated. She’s kind and cool. I want a relationship like what Lucas and she have. They are the polar opposite of each other but they fit perfectly with each other.

Luna and Alpha decorated the entire castle for her, with glitter and ribbons. Everything a little girl could dream of she had. A cake that was made to touch the sky, decorated beautifully with pink flowers and a princess that looked just like her sitting on top. Every little wish she had granted.
