“You’ll break, little moon. When you do, I’ll be waiting.” The dream shattered. Selene bolted upright in the furs, drenched in sweat, her heart pounding. Luna was already there, awake, golden eyes alert even in the dark. She gripped selene’s hands tightly. “You were dreaming,” Luna said, her voice taut. “Was it her?” Selene’s throat closed. She nodded. Luna pulled her into her arms, holding her so fiercely it almost hurt. “She won’t have you. Not while I still breathe.”

Chapter 72: Inner Conflict As the village continued to heal, Luna and Asher dedicated themselves to their roles as leaders and protectors. Wishing those words were not a lie, hoping they were not another trick to get me out of the office, I followed along, keeping the hope that this was the truth as I made my way out the office door and down the stairs and into the front yard, approaching the forest, feeling the familiar scent, I began to run and soon I come across a small figure, a woman’s figure, the shining light blue eyes like the deep blue sea that I yearned to see looked straight at me as tears began to envelop my eyes

The past few days had been going smoothly for the family. Enjoying each other's company not worrying about anything that much. But, there's something that kept on occupying Luna's mind every night. She kept on having dreams that people are glorifying her existence like she was a God for them. She felt weirded out on the first day that she experienced that dream. But as it continue, she felt enjoyment deep inside her heart thinking the possibilities of it to happen any time from now. She knows to herself that she have a rare case that is different towards other people.

She hoped sleep would bring her dreams of Lucas. Her hope came true as her eyes grew heavy. Luna found herself in a dream, seemingly in a dark room. She called out for Lucas, hoping he would guide her towards the light. But despite her repeated calls, Lucas didn't appear. Panic settled in as darkness surrounded her, leaving Luna feeling breathless and disconnected.

My eyes couldn't lie, when tears of happiness flowed down my cheeks at that time, I kept rubbing my stomach as if I didn't expect that my dream of becoming a Luna would now actually come true. “You have to tell him now,” the Doctor said. I took my phone out of my bag and immediately called Hunter, a happy smile spread across my face as I walked down the hall. But many times I tried to contact Hunter, he didn't answer my phone.
