Long enough to know that the Luna who stood before her was Luna Ariana Nathaniel, chosen to Alpha David Nathaniel who was the owner of one of the most flourished food companies in the world. “The reason why we are here is simple. It is about Luna Roland, she has no right to be part of us any longer as her husband is now deceased”, the luna declared. Daphne’s eyes darted over to the luna in question, Luna Helena Roland; she had tears in her eyes and did not look like her usual self.

My Luna was the one who had been said, a decade ago, to come and end the Dojras war. She was not happy, since it was said that I might use my life to pay for the war victory. Seeing her should be a great news, since the pack has been waiting for the Luna of mine to come. I walked into the room and pulled my phone out of my pocket and plugged in the earpiece into it, to my ears. I played Crazy world by Lucky Dube, a song that came to mind, thinking about the complicated issue, surrounding finding a damsel and thinking about the future. I sank in my bed and laid, with my legs against the floor.

A huge smile was planted on her face. "WHAT THE HELL!!" I screamed at her, "You're dead you stupid bitch.." I lowered my head and shook it. The warlock inched closer behind her, a smile on his face. "No, I will be Luna. NOT you." she said firmly, poor dumb naive girl.. Her hands on her hips, and a dumb selfish smile on her face.

The battlefield was alive with chaos. The air reeked of blood, sweat, and the sharp metallic sting of iron. Wolves clashed against rogues in violent bursts of fur and steel, the ground already slick beneath their paws. “Stay with the Luna!” a warrior barked, shoving Nyx back behind the protective circle. Luna. The word struck her again, heavier than any blade. She hadn’t earned it, hadn’t claimed it, yet it wrapped around her like a mantle she couldn’t shake.

On getting to those coordinates. On finding out who was playing this game. And putting a bullet in their head. That's what Lunas did. They protected their pack. No matter the cost.

LAURA I was eating my breakfast silently when a maid walked up to me with a bouquet of flowers. “Good morning, Luna. Someone sent these for you,” she said. I was confused at first but collected it, eager to check the card. “Who is it from?” I asked her. “I…I don't know. A guard just told me to give it to you,” she replied. “Okay, you may go,” I dismissed her. I started hassling the flowers, trying to get the card out but it somewhat got stuck in the flowers. “Where the fuck is it?” I tried looking for it, but it was stuck.

“A weak, unwanted nothing. You might have a new pack, but deep down, you'll always be that pathetic girl we all knew.” I felt Xander tense beside me, ready to defend my honor, but I placed a hand on his arm. This was my battle to fight. Taking a deep breath, I stepped closer to Kara, my voice low but clear. “You're right Kara. I've changed a lot. Now, I'm stronger and more powerful than you ever thought possible. I'm the real Luna, selected by the Moon Goddess herself. And I'm here to help protect your pack, whether you want me to or not. So I recommend you stop your small-minded dislike and concentrate on staying alive.”

I tell her as I take a sip from my cup. She smiles at me, “You do not appear to be this kind of girl,” she states, I am confused by her comments, “What does that mean?” I ask, “Do not get me wrong but, I simply mean being Luna of this large pack doesn't suit a girl like you,” she explains. I raised my brow hearing her words, Shira growled at her in my head, “You seem quite sure with your words,” I speak out with a half smile etched on my face, “You mind telling me the criteria one needs to be Luna?”

Dammit. I'm the Luna.

Bianca had crossed another line that night. “Where’s Mama’s crown?” The voice was small, curious, soft as dusk. Luna stood on tiptoe beside the grand table of the war room, her tiny hands gripping the edge as she peered over the holographic projections flickering across its surface. Red and blue lights danced across her cheeks, reflections of territories, soldiers, and encrypted codes she couldn’t possibly understand but she tried. She mimicked the gestures she had watched Bianca make a hundred times. “Deploy to the east sector,” she whispered, pressing her finger against a glowing circle. The projection rippled and shifted.
