Amara flinched at her words, her hands trembling in her lap. She opened her mouth to speak but hesitated, unsure of what to say. “My Queen, I never meant for any of this to happen. I only wanted to help,” Amara whispered, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
“I know,” Luna Anita replied, her voice hardening again. “But whether you meant to or not, my sons are at each other’s throats because of you. This cannot continue.”
