The scent of old paper and wax filled the air.
He called over a middle-aged librarian who looked friendly enough. “Please assist Luna Lulu. She’s interested in history and natural phenomena, especially eclipses.”
The librarian smiled warmly. “It’s an honour. Come, Luna, the astronomy and fire phenomena section is on the right wing.”
Once Dren left, I followed the librarian. He led me to a darker corner where the books looked ancient, bound in thick leather.
“This is our collection on eclipses and lunar and solar cycles, including records from ancient fire mages,” he said before bowing and leaving me alone.
