The conversations faltered one by one, voices dipping as heads turned. Heat flushed my cheeks, and I almost wished I’d argued harder to stay upstairs. But then Tyler walked in behind me, his presence filling the space like a tide. He placed his hand lightly at my back, steadying me. For a moment, the room held its breath. "Colonel Xavier, gotta say—you really think you're hot shit, huh? You've gone through all this trouble for Serenity Villa. I'm guessing it's because of Ms. Phelan, right?" Xavier did not deny it. He chuckled proudly. "Good. Saves me the trouble of explaining. Luna is the moon in the heavens, and I, Xavier, believe I'm no less than the sun itself. "The sun and moon have always belonged together. So, if Luna wants something, I'll make damn sure she gets it." Andrew outright laughed. "Luna, sure, you could maybe compare her to the moon—she's got something special going on. But you? No offense, Colonel Haywood, but maybe look in the mirror before calling yourself the sun."

I don’t want to get in her way. She nods biting her lip. “Perhaps you can wake me up when back?” She says snaking her hands into my back jean’s pockets. She laughs as Jeremy makes the same noise she did earlier. After a quick change and me borrowing one of Jeremy’s shirts we get Leo to drop us off into town. Jeremy calls Louis to get their location and we enter the bar “Moonlight” to find them. Owned by one of our Alpha friends from a neighbouring pack we find Louis and company sitting in the VIP section with a dozen bottles of Prosecco.

I started to panic so I reached for the door and immediately regretted it cause the next thing I knew my back was against the wall and Archer's body was so close to mine. “Lunar, please let me go,” He still didn’t answer me, just placed his lips on mine. Lunar has kissed me once before. His kiss was rough and dominating just like him but right now he was being gentle and kissed me with a passion I wish Archer would. After a minute or two he pulls away and steps back. “Happy birthday Lily,” Lunar finally says. “Thank you,” “If Archer doesn't mind, do you want to dance with me?” “I’d like that but he has to get Clara back. He’s not happy what I did,”

She whispered to Jessica, who was trying everything she could to move from the ground. The moon has now reached its peak. "Witness....Hell...." Xavier spoke aloud as he gripped Jasmine's shoulders. Jasmine's head rolled to the side as she closed her eyes. She spoke the words that pierced my heart. "I, Lunar Dynamis, accept you" With a smile, Xavier's canines came out as a red mist started to form and his eyes turned as blood red as the moon.

Kael replied. “Helpful explanation.” He gave her a small smile. “They tell the story of the Twenty Moons.” Luna ran her fingers across one of the glowing carvings. The moment she touched it, a powerful wave of energy rushed through her. Her vision exploded with light. Suddenly she wasn’t standing in the stone circle anymore. She was somewhere else. A massive sky stretched above her. Twenty enormous moons filled the darkness, glowing in different colors—silver, blue, violet, gold.

I flooded the Lunar Loom with the "Energy of a Story that Refuses to be Told." The reaction was a Universal System-Error. The Lunar Loom, designed to harvest the "High-Intensity Drama" of the shifter species, hit a wall of Nothingness. The white light stuttered, turned a bruised purple, and then Imploded. The "Negative-Mass" beams backfired, the suction reversing and slamming back into the moon’s surface. The crack in the moon widened even further, chunks of lunar crust drifting off into the void as the Harvester-Ship’s engine seized.

They were talking with each other as I looked down at the huge glass case filled with pastries of all kinds and flavours lined behind, making my mouth water. " Oh and this must be the new Luna everyone was talking about, welcome to my shop Luna" She smiled warmly and I smiled back. "Have you tried pastries before Rose?" Stella asked me, catching me eyeing the pastries hungrily. I shook my head no, "only people who finish Alpha's tasks get pastries, I never had any before" I said. They looked taken aback and looked at one another with worried looks, "Want to try it now?" Avery asked and I nodded and looked at the various options to choose from but not sure what to pick.

The sadness I felt for those mates. “He paid us well, but we never knew who he was or what he intended to do with the information. I needed something from him and he wanted something from me. I will say this though he wants you... Aarya…I mean Luna,” Lily added, her voice quivering. “He always appeared dangerous, but we were too scared to cross him.”

One of them said, "This is not fair. If you have to punish me, then punish me some more. You cannot remove me from my post like this. Because you guys did not make me Luna. My five mates made me Luna. You may have forgotten that I was the Alpha of the Shadow Moon Pack before I became Luna. The moon goddess gave me five princes as companions and they are the ones who made me Luna. Therefore only my mates have the right to remove me from my Luna position. Not you." Queen said sharply.
