I said sweetly, just as someone coughed. My gaze shifted to Leo to see his drink had stained his shirt. It seemed he had choked on his drink. “Excuse me.” He rose to his feet and walked away. My eyes followed him. “So why didn’t you guys want to return to school? I thought you didn’t like staying home, Liam?” Christian asked. Yet I wasn’t in the mood to continue the conversation, so I set down my drink. “I need to use the restroom,” I said as I rose to my feet.

Lorenzo came over to me, using her nursing skills, she checked through my body. “What’s happening over there?” Alpha Kai asked, he seemed a little bit worried. “I think it’s some kind of special cut or weapon,” Lorenzo responded as she continued checking the spot where the pain originated from. “What can you see?
