Flight of the cardinal

Flight of the cardinal

Nothing was eye-catching, just more confusing big words that writers used in the old days to make stuff sound more scientific and interesting. “Lycanthropes and werewolves are considered shifters. Although contrary to their shifting counterparts, Lycans cannot transform their bodies into full wolf form. Their transformation is much more excruciating and complex. Their bones break and are reshaped inside their bodies to make them bigger, faster, and stronger. They have a wolf-like appearance but with a humanoid form, meaning they can walk on two legs or crouch and run on all fours, whereas wolf shifters can fully take a wolf’s form and blend with nature.” This

Mated To My Enemies! Lycan Kings Obsession

Mated To My Enemies! Lycan Kings Obsession

Through the thick haze, shadows moved—large, hulking figures with glowing red eyes. The guards immediately unsheathed their swords, their bodies tensed for battle. “They’re here,” one of them muttered under his breath. My blood ran cold. “Who?” One of the guards stepped protectively in front of me. “Serene’s followers.” Before I could even process his words, the creatures lunged. They were Lycans. Not the kind like my mates—the powerful, controlled Alphas. No, these were wild, untamed beasts. Their claws were longer, their teeth sharper, their growls more monstrous than anything I had ever heard.

The Forbidden Claim: Three Alphas, One Luna

The Forbidden Claim: Three Alphas, One Luna

A giant pine tree at the clearing entrance got forcefully pushed from its location. Five gigantic monstrous beings stepped from their concealed positions. They didn't walk on four legs like normal wolves. Instead they used two legs to move around. The massive creatures walked in bipedal motion while their bodies had strong muscle development which made their dark matted fur look terrifying because their eyes glowed with an acidic green light. The exiled rogues are Lycans. The largest beast at the scene stood eight feet tall while wearing a jagged silver crown which he had into his chest. He looked at Kaelen, Caleb, and Jace with pure, murderous intent, his massive claws extending.

Moonbound At Sliver Ridge

Moonbound At Sliver Ridge

Beside them rose Lycan’Dra, the crown’s domain. If Lycandra was instinct, Lycan’Dra was discipline—white marble cities, obsidian towers, runes spilling silver light across the skyline. Lycans lived here: stronger, faster, sharper than any wolf born beyond their borders. They shifted onto two legs—towering beasts with claws and fangs, minds untouched by frenzy. They were generals, tacticians, rulers. From the High Seat, the Lycan Kings governed both Lycans and wolves, their power descending from the First Shift.

The King's Mate

The King's Mate

She intriguingly continued reading it. ~ Lycanthropes, or commonly called Lycans, were the strongest unbeatable and highest form of werewolves. They have the power to shapeshift at their own will and control it – at anytime and anywhere they want. ~ ~ Lycanthropes look like wolves but are immensely bigger and with deadly claws. Its bared canines were poisonous so that it could kill you slowly or immediately, depending on how deep the bite was. ~ ~ Lycans were geniuses and could easily grasp ideas – making it hard to kill, not just in terms of strength and power. ~

Twin Alpha Kings Pup Mate

Twin Alpha Kings Pup Mate

My heart pounds, a deafening percussion in my ears that mirrors the thudding of my pursuers. Suddenly, emerging from the inky shadows of the forest, a herd of Lycans appears to block my path. Their forms are grotesque parodies of both man and wolf—upright figures covered in coarse fur, their snouts elongated, their eyes glowing an eerie, malevolent yellow. Muscles ripple under their fur as they snarl, displaying long, lethal fangs that are built to tear flesh from bone. The very air around them seems to thicken, heavy with their ominous presence.

Overnight Magnate

Overnight Magnate

"Shit! We're not getting out of here!" Scoop looked pale. Abel felt despair. These creatures were so durable and nigh-unkillable that they would have become the apex in a world where Sublime Bodies didn't exist. 137 of such creatures altogether was as much the sign of death as any. The monsters had gotten close enough that the crowd could now see them better. They spotted a large wolf head, yet they were bipedal. They had human feet and wolf claws as hands. "L-Lycans!" "Impossible!" Jester retorted, shaking his head. "It can't be!"

Lord Dhruv: The Omega fated companion.

Lord Dhruv: The Omega fated companion.

That was where the light was coming from. The light was bright. Too bright. I had to close my eyes. I only opened my eyes when I heard a loud growl in the room. I saw met with a sight to behold. It was Lucan Lycans form. Unlike werewolves, Lycans didn't undergo a full transformation. Lycans were like therianthrope. Their upper body remained the same, but their lower side were like werewolves on steroids, standing on their agile hindlimb.

Owned by the triplet

I stepped back, my hands over my mouth. I watched in paralyzed horror as the men I had kissed, the men I had slept with, turned into monsters. They weren't just wolves. They were Lycans. This is exactly how those fantasy novels I read describe their looks. They stood nearly eight feet tall on their hind legs, with massive claws and muzzles filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. Alaric was a beast of silver and grey. Silas was a sleek, lethal white. Killian was a shadow of pure black.
