Lycanthropes 소설 & 이야기

No one would. "Well, She couldn't give us more information, but what she told me was that the creatures we would be looking for were of lycan clan, " He said as smirk. We were closer than we thought but still very far behind. "Isn't she an Oracle?" I asked, surprised because, according to me, the Oracle was supposed to give us the names. "She is, but her spirit got detected before she could see the person's face, so they have an Oracle too," He said as worry suddenly came to my face.

His eyes are so wide with terror. The Lycan King growls again, and presses his forearm even harder against Ragnar's throat. I can't see his face, but I'm sure that it must be the scariest thing Ragnar has ever seen. His powerful, shirtless back is stiff, ready to spring free at the slightest provocation. I lower my gaze, and see that his other arm is darker, as though dusted down with charcoal. His fingers are the darkest, and at the tips, vicious claws stand ready.

“Look. They’re different monsters.” Everyone stared intently. Scott narrowed his eyes. Yes, they looked different. Lyall's Lycan was larger and had a mix of gray and black fur, while the Lycan in Scott's memory was jet black. "Carl, are there really other Lycans besides Lyall?" Darius asked. "I didn't even know this. According to legend, there's only one Lycan, and only the Lycaros family possesses it."

Lycans were a myth. “I’m serious, Zaliver,” I said with my lips pursing at him. “So am I.” I shook my head at him not believing him. “Think about it. A species similar to werewolves but are way too different from them—stronger, faster, and better than wolves. I command all wolves. Come on, Vivian,” he said.

The night stalkers. Ancient, beast-like creatures that haunted the jungle, feared by both werewolves and Lycans alike. Their massive, mutated wolf-like bodies loomed in the shadows. Elongated limbs twisted unnaturally, jagged spikes jutted from their backs, their yellow eyes gleaming with hunger. Canines dripped with venom, saliva sizzling where it met the ground. One stepped forward, sniffing the air. It knew what I was. And it wanted my blood. The attack came fast.

Lian was shocked: What are you, Max? Maximus nervously: We are not, in fact, not human, we are vampires and other creatures that feed on human blood and some of us eat their meat, there are werewolves and cannibals and other creatures Lian sniffles: You are freaks Maxus smiles sarcastically:

“I’m the best bait we have. Young. Innocent-looking. They won’t see a threat until it’s too late.” Matthias stood so abruptly the chair scraped hard against the floor. Both hands slammed down on the desk. The heavy wood cracked straight down the middle under the force. “I will not allow it.” Liliana rose as well. Her own growl answered his. “I’m a Lycan. I have a better chance of survival than any female warrior we could send. Instinct under pheromone pressure isn’t something ordinary wolves can simply ignore. I can.” Their auras erupted at the same moment.

The creatures had gnarled limbs and razor-sharp claws, their eyes burning with an insatiable hunger. With a primal roar, Tyler lunged forward, his body shifting seamlessly into its Lycan form. His fangs glistened under the flickering torchlight as he engaged the first creature. The clash of steel and the sickening thuds of bodies colliding filled the air as his companions joined the fray, their weapons slicing through the air with deadly precision.

If someone were to walk in they’d see the way he pinned me to the wall, our chests heaving in tandem, and would likely assume the worst. I sucked in a ragged breath as he removed his hand, only the air was thick with his scent. It rushed right to my head, coaxing a whine from my lips that I barely managed to smother in time. Lycans were a vicious, brutal race. I knew that as well as I knew my own name, yet nothing could’ve prepared me for the half-brothers from hell. The blast should’ve broken your spine. Ryker’s eyes were dark with rage, yet I thought I saw something within them falter. It lasted but a split second, a fraction of a moment.

Lab rats. Her gaze traveled over his features. There were slight differences that would always set him apart from typical humans. The facial bones were more pronounced in the cheeks and chins of the New Species. Their noses also seemed wider and a bit flatter than normal. A lot of them had fuller lips and fang-like teeth. The shapes of their eyes could reflect an individual’s distinct animal ancestry.
