Novel Flight Novels & Stories

I'm starting a new novel! I'm so excited to share with you guys the other novel I've been plotting lately. Queen Of Ace What is this novel all about? =If you haven't read my first novel, His Fragile Flame, I uploaded in this app, this is only "a part" of it but can be read as "stand-alone". This story was written in different character's perspective and her back story before His Fragile Flame. You don't have to read the first book to understand this novel, and I think it's better if you read this before that because HFF has spoilers.

It had five wolf heads howling at the moon which was in the middle of them. Kade wrapped his arm around me, resting his head on top of mine. We did not speak, but we did not need to right now. We were both caught in our own thoughts but were still supporting one another and reminding both of us that we were in this together. “Attention. This is your pilot Jeffery Saunters. We will be taking off in two minutes. Flight time will be approximately 135 minutes.” My stomach was a ball of nerves with the whole flying thing. Wolves were meant to be on the ground. If we were meant to fly then Selene would have given us wings. Right?

During the ten-hour flight, the newlyweds were inseparable, engrossed in loving conversation and laughter, lost in their own world. As their plane descended towards Alaska International Airport, Liam and Elena peered out the window, marveling at the stunning beauty of the snow-capped mountains and endless expanse of wilderness below. As soon as their feet touched the ground, they eagerly made their way toward the baggage claim, eager to begin their new life together in this breathtakingly beautiful corner of the world.

“Good, good. I’ll be serving us lunch once she arrives – it izz crucial zat we leave early. We never want to miss our flight.” My stomach drops. I caughr Caelum’s worried glance and shrugged, shaking my head at him. I took the sleeves of my shirt and started cleaning up my face, contemplating about the excuse I shall make for I am terrified to fly on a plane – I consider them dodgy and highly unreliable means of transportation for I don’t trust human invention. I know that Caelum will be with me as we fly but I don’t want to hang on to that risk. Caelum stopped with the whipped cream as he handed me some tissue. I muttered a small thanks, avoiding his concerned look.

I gave him space the moment we got into the plane and now I couldn’t wait for us to take off. “You seem so… familiar with the environment… I had guessed this was your first flight, am I wrong?” He asked. There was a book in his hand, it had his total attention, he wasn’t even looking at me, but I felt my stomach fold and an uneasy feeling swim in me at the sound of his voice. I fixed a certain boldness I didn’t feel in my voice and attempted to act nonchalant. “It’s my first flight.” I kept it short, if I spoke more words, the dread I was feeling might slip into it.

“But right now, all I know is that things are messy, confusing, and…maybe a little thrilling.” The plane lurched as it took off, Flora pressing her forehead against the cool window. Below, the city shrunk into a miniature grid of streets and buildings. As the plane ascended into the clouds, a single thought echoed in her mind – this wasn’t the end of her story with Damien Hayes. It was just the beginning of a very interesting complication indeed.

"Looks like we're flying in style." As we settle into our seats, the flight attendant offers a menu featuring gourmet dining options. I marvel at the thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Jim leans over, whispering, "Anything you'd like, Anastasia. This is our little getaway, after all." The hours ahead unfold in a cocoon of luxury. We're treated to exquisite meals, attentive service, and the freedom to stretch out and relax. The flight becomes more than a mode of transportation; it transforms into a chapter of our journey, marked by the shared experience of flying in opulence.

She realized that she had been holding onto the past, onto the memories of her and Gage. When she finished the book, Nicole felt a sense of peace wash over her. She felt like she had finally understood something that she had been trying to figure out for so long. And as she stood up, her hand instinctively went to her belly, where a new life was growing. The airport announcer's voice boomed through the speakers, echoing off the walls of the terminal. "Final boarding call for Flight 212 to Paris. All passengers, please board the aircraft at this time."

The plane broke through the clouds and descended steadily toward Northspire Bay, glittering like a field of stars beneath the night sky. Outside the window were thousands of warm lights–life, warmth, the world itself–stretching into a brand-new and boundless horizon. There was work I loved and believed in. Friends who walked beside me with sincerity. A lover waiting for me, loving me. And most of all, a new life–chosen with my own hands, full of warmth and promise.

But now, I was ready to help provide for them and ease their struggles. The second the plane came to a complete stop and the sweet brunette flight attendant gave us the 'okay' to move, everyone jumps out of their seats and race to get their luggage out from the top compartments and leave the tiny plane. Luckily thought I was seated next to the window. So I don't have to deal with people pushing and shoving me around or be forced to stand in the crowd, getting squished in the process. Knowing firsthand on how long it actually takes for people to get off a flight, I had a good fifteen minutes before I would get up and grab my things, so I just remain seated. Meanwhile to pass the time I pull o
