Novel & Cerita Mabangis Na Hayop Drawing

We’ve had a lot of loss in this family. For uncle Gabriel I draw a picture of him with grandpa Daniel and grandma Isla. I know they aren’t my real grandparents but I wish I could’ve met them. I draw grandpa Thierry again with Braydon and his parents for auntie Keila and uncle Owen. I do the same thing for uncle Mark and auntie Daniela. The last one I draw is of mom and dad with all of us kids. I leave space to add the new baby once it’s born. I draw Malayah happy just like I remember her. I roll each drawing up and wrap a bow around them with name tags.

As Felix didn’t own any crayons, Aaron had done his drawing using pencils and blue and black pens. “It’s beautiful Aaron. She’s going to love it.” Cassie assured. Felix squinted at the drawing. “Is that a squid?” He asked, pointing at the blue creature with black polka dots that the people in Aaron’s drawing were sitting on. “No.” Aaron answered with a frown. “It’s a horse. See the mane and the tail.” He explained pointing at various things. “Lily likes horses. I do too but she likes them more.” Felix nodded even though he couldn’t see the alleged mane and the tail. To him, the ‘horse’ looked like a squid suffering from some sort of musculoskeletal and dermatological disease.

"Hello, Maya." She went back to her drawing. "I'm busy." He almost smiled. "I can see that." "Grandma said I could draw until lunch. So I am drawing." "What are you drawing?" She held up the sketchbook. The sea. Waves. A boat. Three figures on the shore. A man with light brown hair. A woman with dark hair. And a little girl between them. "That's me, mama and Papa Sam," she said. "We are looking at the ocean."

How did someone manage to draw so many patterns on their faces? How did the artist come up with so many childish designs?

Bee was a brilliant artist and couldn't stop herself from criticizing them. She said to herself, "These are so childish, why would he keep them framed?"

She started scratching dark lines on a big piece of white paper. She drew a girl with a flat nose and lots of little brown dots on her cheeks. While she drew, a huge, happy smile came onto her face. She even used a bright yellow stone to draw big sun lines all around the girl's head, making her look like a bright star. At the very top of the paper, Amara wrote one word with her shaky hand: Mommy. "Why did you write that?" Jabari asked, his little eyebrows bunching up. "That does not look like the mean lady from the Okafor clan."

Even Mondrian would have called them abstract. Nyla was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing. "Why not?" "Because your drawings are way too abstract. No one but you could possibly understand them," Mason whined. Nyla glanced at Damon, who was nearby, and handed him the drawings. "You take a look. Can you guess what these are?" Damon examined the first one. It seemed to depict an animal—but whether it was an elephant or a hippo, he couldn't tell. Furrowing his brow, he ventured, "A walrus?"
