Novel & Cerita Mabangis Na Hayop Drawing

Miguel sat cross-legged on his bedroom floor, clutching his favorite blue crayon between his small fingers. His tongue poked out slightly from the corner of his mouth as he concentrated on adding the final touches to his drawing. "Mommy will like this," he whispered to himself, tilting his head to examine his artwork. The drawing showed two stick figures holding hands beneath a bright yellow sun. One tall with long black hair, one small with a big smile. Miguel and his mommy.

“It’s ticklish, Miss Cassey.” When I looked at the palms of the other children, I saw drawings of different kinds of insects, animals, and plants. There was a spider, a dragonfly, butterfly, elephant, dog, cat, tulips, and roses. She was good with her hands. All of them looked really nice. My daughter would love something like that as well. “There, it’s done. Do you like it?” I heard her say. My heart leaped. Even that voice was achingly familiar.

We’ve had a lot of loss in this family. For uncle Gabriel I draw a picture of him with grandpa Daniel and grandma Isla. I know they aren’t my real grandparents but I wish I could’ve met them. Felix squinted at the drawing. “Is that a squid?” He asked, pointing at the blue creature with black polka dots that the people in Aaron’s drawing were sitting on. “No.” Aaron answered with a frown. “It’s a horse. See the mane and the tail.” He explained pointing at various things. “Lily likes horses. I do too but she likes them more.” Felix nodded even though he couldn’t see the alleged mane and the tail. To him, the ‘horse’ looked like a squid suffering from some sort of musculoskeletal and dermatological disease.
