SCARRED HEARTS (Book 2 of Precious Series)

SCARRED HEARTS (Book 2 of Precious Series)

“I have a surprise for you.” “Again? But this is crazy considering I am just your temporary PA.” “You are not JUST to me Mabel, you know that. Not just a PA, you are more to me. You are the only stubborn one who wants nothing more when in fact I offered you more.” “More? You offered friendship, Devlin and I accepted.” “Well okay, if we are friends, then you are not a JUST for me, Do humor me Mabel and just say yes, please.” “Okay, whatever this surprise is.” She slid in the passenger seat and buckled her seatbelt. Devlin drove towards the Abu Dhabi Yacht and Sailing Club Harbor near Marina Mall and Mabel’s heart sped up.

After Forgetting Me, My CEO Ex-husband Regrets

After Forgetting Me, My CEO Ex-husband Regrets

Thomas glanced at me with an appreciative smile on his face. I haven’t kissed those lips in so long, I found myself thinking for a second. Wow, Lydia! Stop! I told myself. He is marrying another woman! “I will sail on a ship,” Mabel said. She pointed at the poster of a pirate movie that was glued to a wall. In one hand, she held a chocolate sundae that was beginning to melt down her little fist. Thomas picked up both of his children – one in each arm. “I’m very proud of you two,” he said.

Bound By The Alpha’s Mark: His Whore

~Audrina~ Mabel's face was redder than a tomato. This was the angriest I'd seen her get, and the fact that it was on my behalf sent waves of happiness through me. "Well then, with the evidence before our eyes, what do you have to say for yourself?" Mabel glared daggers at Paige, whose mouth still dangled open with shock. Color flooded her cheeks at the embarrassment, and her eyes flashed dangerously, like she was blinking tears.

Babysitting Alex

Mabel glanced at her husband, Jack, who had strolled over, eyeing the spread hungrily. " Hey, what's all this? " Jack inquired, eyeing the picnic setup with interest. Mabel winked mischievously. " Oh, just a girls' picnic, dear. Sorry, no room for boys " Jack feigned offense, pointing at Liam. " Is Liam a girl? " he protested, his tone playful. Mabel chuckled. " Nice try, honey. But this is strictly a 'no boys allowed' affair " Jack shrugged, mock pouting. " Alright, alright. Have fun, ladies "

The Ex-wife He Regrets Losing!

The Ex-wife He Regrets Losing!

HAILEY Marcus Vega's report arrived via encrypted email at eleven PM. I'd been waiting for it, refreshing my inbox obsessively since dinner. When it finally appeared, I opened it immediately, scanning through the pages. Mabel James. Born Mabel James, married name Mabel Hoss. Thirty-two years old. Stylist based in Los Angeles, recently returned to New York. I already knew all of that. I scrolled down, looking for something useful. Something I could actually use against her.

she yelled and I chuckled internally what a psycho girl. Okay Melissa, that's your name right? And she nodded. "What are you doing here" I asked her yet again and she brought out a picture from her hair and showed it to me. I quickly snatched it seeing that it was the picture that fell into the beach the other day. "Where did you get this from I asked her and she smiled, her smile is so mesmerizing and addictive. "In my home at Atlantica" she said and I shrugged and dropped it on the couch.

Mabel snarled. "I'm not yet pregnant," Danica helplessly said and turned to Paul. She was about to say something when Mabel began dishing out the food and said, "Oh, you'll see it soon. I know you are." Danica shook her head, ignored Mabel's optimism and said to Paul, "thank you." Paul nodded slightly. He understood the reason for Danica's apology. *******

I would say this novel is one of my top 5! The author has her own way to build up the characters so just stick to it all through the end. Its worth reading! I appreciated that it’s not just a romance novel, But also it gives you heart warming lessons! This book is a gem! Good job author!

Storyline was good. My only issues were character mixups and some grammatical errors. There was a James, Gertrude and Joana introduced to the story that didn’t belong because they were Paul, Herty and Rosa. Overall, I liked the story!

Forever His

Forever His

Mabel replies as she tries to shut the door in their faces. Lt. Parker stops her and pushes the door open. He then grabs Mabel by the arm, he tries to drag her out of the house, but she resists. Other Sharks look at them unsure about how to act, normally they would be helping Parker by now, but I am sure that the fact that Mabel is a Bearer and Commander Mortensen’s mother is preventing them from acting. “Stop that right now!” Matron Constance orders Lt. Parker. “You can not treat her like this!”

CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Just feeling the thickness, Mabel could tell it held a considerable sum. “What’s this?” she asked, startled, trying to give it back. “It’s too much. I can’t accept this.” “Yes, you can. It’s a token of our appreciation. Please, just take it,” Mrs. Perez insisted, pressing the envelope into her hands. “All we ask is a little help.” At first, Mabel was hesitant. “I think it’s better to avoid interfering in someone’s marriage. If Quincy hadn’t married her yet, that’d be different. But they’re already married. I can’t be the one to encourage a divorce.”

i actually really the rhythm of the emotions and the upside down of the cenerio. The story hidden behind the character named zac is quiet interesting and is also full of mystery. and the thing that nash doesn't love marinda any more but still mumble her name while drunk,I think there is another story

NOT RECOMMENDED!!Only on chapter 186 and stopped due to the running in circles of the plot. to get this far and see no real character development and no resolutions is very disheartening. I loved the plot but this is ridiculous. I came to the reviews just to see many of the readers feel the same way

Mated to the Broken Alpha

Mated to the Broken Alpha

"Something is coming, isn't it?. If not mother wouldn't let me go blindly to LA just like that" "W-What do.." Mabel stuttered but words didn't need to be said for she knew she's been caught. "What is it? Tell me" "Mabel seems to have snapped out of her trance. "It's something we can handle alone" "Are you sure?" "Yes" "Then honour mother's wishes. She wants far from the pack, are you still going to be stubborn about my decision?" "Then you tell me; why are you leaving all the way to LA? You don't know anybody there"

Frequently Asked Questions

Mabel's journey in 'The Adventures of Mabel' is such a delightful whirlwind of whimsy and charm! Written by Harry Thurston Peck, this classic children's tale follows a little girl who stumbles into a world where animals talk and magic feels as natural as breathing. From the moment she befriends a wise old owl to her encounters with mischievous fairies, every chapter feels like unwrapping a tiny gift. What stands out to me is how Mabel’s kindness becomes her compass—whether she’s reuniting lost squirrel families or outsmarting a sly fox. The book’s vintage prose might feel a bit old-fashioned now, but that’s part of its charm. It’s like stepping into a cozy, forgotten corner of childhood where curiosity always leads to wonder.

One of my favorite moments is when Mabel negotiates with a grumpy troll to cross a bridge. Instead of fighting, she uses wit and empathy, which feels like a subtle lesson tucked into the adventure. The ending wraps up softly, with Mabel returning home—almost as if she’s stepped out of a dream—but you’re left wondering if the magic was ever really just in her head. It’s the kind of story that makes you want to peek behind tree trunks for hidden doorways.
