Madagascar 2 Alex The Lion Novels & Stories

I whisper. The word slips out before I even think about it. Mama takes a step toward him quickly. “Darius,” she says carefully. Her hands are raised a little like she is trying to calm a scared animal. “It is us.” But his wolf does not listen. He growls. The sound rolls through the temple like thunder and the vibration runs through the stone floor under my hands. My heart jumps. He looks huge right now. Bigger than I imagined when Mama told me stories about the Alpha.

After that, Liana leaves while Alexa stays, ripping off her necklace for Liana’s apparent betrayal. Almost as soon as Liana’s gone, Slyder arrives and takes Alexa to Lydia. Alexa tells Lydia that Melody is not with her, and Lydia jesters Slyder over, who sniffs Alexa’s basket for the mirror when suddenly, Lily attaches herself to his teeth with her tongue. He swings the puppy around, sending her flying across the ground. After hearing from Slyder that there’s no mirror, Lydia asks Alexa, “Where is your friend? Or should I say, ex-friend?” Alexa acts as if she doesn’t know where Liana is, and Lydia pulls out her flute to mesmerize her, but Alexa tells her that it does not work on her.

"Yes, I can say that,' Alexandro said. “I won’t join your manhunt, if that’s what you’re asking. But I will tell you this—there are others out there. Beyond my kingdom. Beyond yours. Not all creatures respect our war or our women.” Alexandro’s eyes narrowed. “You know something.” “I know rumors. I’ve heard whispers of a new power rising from the east. A rogue named Maeron. Not a wolf. Not quite human. Something... older. I thought he was a myth.” “Why would a myth take my mate?” Valerian’s expression darkened. “You’ll have to find that answer yourself.” Alexandro’s jaw tightened. He didn’t trust Valerian. He never would. But what he said sounded real.

Gavin shouts, “we are NOT turning down an alliance with a Dragon. We’re going there in good faith to work out the rest of the details and how you sort out who’s in your bed and name is on the marriage certificate I care not, but you will bond with all three of them. You will take the abilities that are owed to you.” The sound of ripping fabric is barely over when Trent’s wolf is standing in front of me, baring his teeth to Gavin. Gavin stands his ground, barely reacting when Trent advances towards him, but the low growl he puts off has Trent thrashing his head from side to side before he takes off and leaves me standing with Gavin alone. They left. They’re leaving. An alliance… with a DRAGON

She concludes with a small smile, which didn't meet her eyes. Meanwhile, Madison who was suddenly feeling insulted turns to her. "Are you threatening me?" Madison asks in rage. To her, a brat was talking back at her which was insulting and annoying to her. "You are just a brat who has no sense. Better watch it. Because I won't tolerate any form of insult from you." Madison says. "And you are just some desperate insecure..., " Alexandra pauses, immediately remembering the conversation she overheard between her and Alison, the day they arrived. Knowing she had spoken too much, she licks her dry lips. "I don't just know what to describe you..., "

A talent he attained because unlike the rest of us, he didn't have a tail. Life was unfair. Prince Mitchalus analyzed it as that Alex still had his human genes, so he was unable to formulate a tail. That was not a bad thing. We did a few experiments to test out how good Alex was in this current form. He was excellent in everything except speed. We were faster than him in swimming. He could compensate by using his powers to heighten what his tail could have achieved. Still, Mia and Martin were the fastest of all of us. They originated from one of the pods in the Indian Ocean. Those were the fastest merfolks in the sea. No other creature could outswim them. None.

We got out of the car. The air smelled like pine and sunshine, and Aspen was practically dragging us toward the enclosures before we’d even paid the entrance f*e. “Looook!” she squealed. “That one’s got a funny tail!” “That’s a lemur,” Alec said, keeping pace with her tiny footsteps. “They live in Madagascar.” Aspen frowned up at him. “Where’s that?” “A magical land very far away,” he teased, tickling her side.

’ Mum says. Leon explains how we met Mabel, and she led us to Moss’s pack. ‘Magnus was trying to fight his wolf from shifting. They heard his cries of pain, and that’s when May summoned a storm, balls of fire and fog saving us all.’ Leon says, then nervously laughs. Mum, Dad, Seth, Mia, Josie, and Flint burst into laughter. Except for Amelia, whose face becomes suddenly pale. ‘Good one, Leon, so continue. Tell us what really happened.’ My father says.

You should start explaining whatever I saw last night. Alex did not say anything; he looked at his mother for some time before he finally moved his mouth. "I'm not sure about what you're thinking right now, but what I have to say is that the girl you saw yesterday is my mate." Alex said with no emotion in his eyes. Madeline staggered backward and looked at her son in shock. "What nonsense are you spouting? How is that possible?" She asked, touching her chest. "Mum, you need to calm down." Maya said, moving closer to pull Madeline to her seat, but Madeline stopped her and asked with a raised voice. "Calm down?! How do you expect me to calm down? Do you even hear what your brother said?!"

Confusion washed over me as I realized I hadn't worn any makeup at all. Ignoring Athena's remark, I took a seat next to them at the breakfast table. Throughout the meal, I couldn't help but notice Axel stealing glances at me, his gaze filled with an intensity that sent a delightful shiver down my spine. Before long, he broke the silence, his voice filled with both authority and excitement. "Today, we're departing for Ethiopia," Axel announced, his words causing an immediate buzz of anticipation in the air. He explained that Ethiopia was close to Kenya, our next destination in our quest to find the second artifact.
