Drake POV After an uncomfortable night on the couch, Maddie and I were up early and ready to go visit her family at the Red Moon Pack. Maddie was somewhat somber today, and I could tell she was still put out by our discussion from the night before. Her conversation with me had been limited since that chat and she was reluctant to hold my hand today. I didn’t let go of her hand, she simply made little effort to reciprocate the touch.

How can a smart girl like her be so gullible? “Thank you.” I tell her and leave the lounge. As I take the elevator, I wonder how many times Maddy has had to lie about being unwell so she can spend time with Josh. And for Josh, I wonder what lie he tells his own friends so he can see Maddy. Or is it possible that his friends know that he’s seeing Maddy behind Shirley’s back? I think it’s very possible that they know. Where exactly could they be right now?

“Sorry. I just find it funny. I’ve been wanting to tell you for a few weeks now…but I didn’t want to scare you off either.” Miranda felt a little more relaxed, but she was still concerned about Sharon. “What about your mum though?” Josh’s jay tightened. “She’s just going to have to get used to the idea. We love each other. That’s the end of it.” He pulled her in and gave her a firm kiss. She relaxed into his embrace, placing her head on his chest. “So…what now?” Josh asked.

Josh asked, after minutes of silence. “Just around the place you found us. I was coming from the restaurant where I had just met Maddie not so far from where you saw, just a short walk across the other side of the park”, I replied quickly. Josh was quiet again. “Do you mind telling me why your friend Maddie could not come visit at home like she usually did? Did you have it all planned out or did she just happen to invite you at the time we were at the hospital?” Josh asked with raised eyebrows.

When the elixer did its job he relaxed and fell into a deep, relaxed sleep. The next morning Maddie woke up because Raven was staring at her. He kissed her mouth gently and she put her arms around him. ‘I love you so much,’ she said softly and kissed him back. He moaned softly and broke away from her embrace. ‘Resistance,’ he grumbled apologetically. He got up quickly and she lay smiling at him. ‘Three years,’ he said, ‘I don't know if I'll keep that up.’ Maddie sighed. ‘We don't have a choice, maybe we could use a little more elixir or just treat each other with kissis and so on?’

With his hands clutching his hair, he brokenly whispered, "She suffered all that, and we never knew…" Just then, Ciara skipped in happily, ready to chatter about her birthday party plans. Seeing Joshua stare at the ceiling with lifeless eyes, she turned to tug at Daxon's arm with the sweetest smile. "Daxon, look at what Josh is doing. Let's go pick out a cake." Daxon shoved her off with such a cold, foreign look in his eyes that she barely recognized him. "Get out! Madie was kidnapped, and she could be dead, yet you're still in the mood for a birthday party! Did we spoil you so much you can't tell what the priorities are right now!"

As they talk, they realize that they have a lot in common, and they become friends. Josh and Madison continue to spend time together, and they find that they have a lot to talk about. They share their experiences with gratitude and mindfulness, and they help each other to overcome their personal challenges. As they get to know each other better, they realize that they have strong feelings for each other. As their relationship grows, Josh and Madison face a big challenge. Josh is offered a great opportunity to study abroad for a semester. Madison is excited for him, but she's also worried about what it will mean for their relationship.

Oh, the change that she gave him. It was a good change. For the better. They walked back to their room, Madie skipping her steps as she moved the linked hands back and forth. "Wanna watch a movie, babe?" Dario asked when they were settled by the bed. They were freshly showered, with new clothes on them and finally comfortable on the bed. "Uh-huh!" Madie agreed, crisscrossing her legs in the middle of the bed as her Daddy opened the TV and picked a film.

Combined with severe post-surgical infection and psychological collapse, he was completely broken. He huddled and muttered to himself. "Gigi left. She left with someone else..." "Underboss." Marco could not help but advise. "That was years ago! It's windy up here. Your body can't take it. Let's go back." Matteo's eyes went unfocused, then he suddenly seemed to wake in a panic, frantically grabbing at the armrests of his wheelchair. "No, that's not right! Today is Christmas Eve! It's Gigi's birthday!"

MJ said. They make it to the bed and make love. Afterwards they lay side by side catching their breaths. “I can never get enough of you. Minutes after you thoroughly exhaust me my body starts wanting you again.” Jared explained. “I feel the same.” MJ agreed. A week passes thankfully things are back to normal. MJ and Madi just got home and the boys are at practice. “Madi, can I talk to you?” MJ asked. “Of course.” Madi said. “I’m late.” MJ said.
