“Perfect fit,” I said.
He turned his wrist, inspecting it, “Thank you, Jay.”
“You’re welcome.” I smiled, feeling warm all over. “Wait… I got other stuff too.”
He arched his brow. “Oh?”
I reached into one of the other bags and pulled out the crocs, “For both of us too.”
He took it without speaking, eyes never leaving mine.
“Another one,” I announced as I pulled out a hoodie. Midnight gray, and soft as sin, with a stitched silver wolf emblem on the back.
