Freya’s P.O.V “My coven just used me to get to you,” Maggie’s voice sounded lifeless. “They told me they’ll extract your magic and give it to me, to make me powerful…but now my great-grandmother told me that I helped them for the greater good. Maggie’s great-grandmother sounded like a dick, but that wasn’t my concern. I didn’t like the way Maggie’s eyes looked so dead…as if she was exhausted inside.

Her greying hair was tied back with a bandana, and her apron bore coffee stains that refused to wash out. “Big day for vultures,” Sage muttered. “Say the word and I’ll toss sugar syrup on their fancy loafers,” Maggie offered, exhaling a cloud of smoke.

She silently watches him go and lets out a sigh of relief when he gets out. Running through the night streets of New York with a broad smile on his face, he hasn’t felt this happy in a while. Daniel finally feels alive and free, just talking to her gave him such perks that he never imagined he would ever get. The smile his face wears is unimaginably big; he can’t describe the emotions that are coursing through his body right now.

To answer the questions that were raised in the minds of the readers, yes I'm working on a sequel. A sequel was always the part of the plan and my idea was to leave the readers to a cliffhanger to get them excited. But a lot of the readers were being critical of my decision, which is completely understandable. 'Set Me Free' was not revised so sorry for the typos, I will try to mend my mistakes as much as possible. The sequel is called 'Am I Free?' the book sheds light on what actually happened to Daniel Robinson, if he ever gets to meet Isabelle Davis. Most importantly the sequel gives the much awaited ending.
