Fighting Back (Fighting For Love 5)

Fighting Back (Fighting For Love 5)

He didn’t respond with words: he responded with his body. Drawing back slightly, he lined up the head of his cock and gave a small, careful thrust. She stiffened and he paused. “Babe?” He moved his hand under her curvy ass, supporting her. “You OK?” She nodded, already breathless. “You feel so damn good.” “Oh, fuck,” he groaned as she rotated her hips, taking him deeper. “Ditto, angel.” That was the end of coherent conversation between them. **** This is the final book in the 'Fighting For Love' series, and happily-ever-afters don’t come easy. Mia and Nick fight to rebuild intimacy after Nick’s devastating amputation... and to survive the vulnerability it demands. Katie and Adam face infertility and the brutal truth of how childhood trauma still echoes into adulthood. Reena and Mitch emerge from trial victorious, only to confront the responsibility – and power – of a life-changing judgment. Maggie is drowning in grief, and Joe is determined to prove that redemption isn’t just a promise, but a permanent change. Four couples. Eight battered hearts. Too many fears, scars, and second chances to count. Everything that can go wrong threatens to. But this time, love doesn’t back down. Because happily-ever-after isn’t given. It’s fought for.

Really loving this book, such a refreshingly different storyline. I jumped straight in without reading the synopsis and it turned out to be so different from my expectations. A well written peice of literature and the only thing I would suggest is taking a little more time to structure the chapters

I enjoyed this book but I felt the issue with his brother was left unresolved...not sure if that's going to be a separate book or not. abe was supposed to have a meeting with Wade but we didn't find out what happened. I will continue reading the wonderful books written by this author

I Married the Third Prince

I Married the Third Prince

In Reychelle City, a contest was held to crown the most beautiful woman. After my cousin scarred my face, she seized first place with ease. What she never expected was that this year's contest wasn't for fame; it was to select the future wife of the Third Prince, a ruthless, bloodthirsty eunuch. That very afternoon, gifts poured in by the cartload. My betrothed panicked. That night, he tore up our engagement contract and carried my cousin into the bridal chamber. The next day, she trailed her lacquered fingertips across my cheek and sneered, "Alicia, with your ruined face, who would ever want you? Perhaps the beggar at the street corner might take you in." I caught her wrist, let out a cold laugh, and said, "Who told you I would marry a beggar?" Before her stunned eyes, I pushed open my parents' chamber doors. "Mom, since Maggie doesn't wish to be the prince's consort… let me take her place." Three years later, before the eyes of a shocked court, the Third Prince entered the grand hall with me at his side, with two children in tow. No one had foreseen it. This body of mine, blessed with the rarest gift of fertility, was the perfect match for a man believed incapable of siring heirs.
