Cyber “Have you found something out?” Maggie peered at me from over the rim of her glasses. She looked tired, older, but still a hell of a lot better than she had when I had seen her in the hospital. It was good she was home and resting. Iris was obviously taking good care of her. My eyes scanned the comfortable living room. Maggie gave an awkward smile as she stepped inside, setting down the large bags of gifts in her hands. “I know you don’t lack anything, but this is just a little token from us. With Louis being ill, this is actually my first time visiting. Please forgive me.” Adora replied politely, “It’s alright. He needs peace and quiet to recover, so we’ve turned down many visits.” Seeing the breakfast still on the table, Maggie grew even more uneasy. “Oh… I’ve disturbed your meal. Don’t mind me, finish eating first. We can talk after.”
