Gathered in the dim light, it was cozy and warm yet still low-key in keeping with what she wanted. Beside her, Jack flipped idly through a magazine, occasionally murmuring to break the silence, talking of school. She nodded occasionally, half listening, just savoring the mellow rhythm of the evening. An uneventful day, highly predictable, just the way she liked it. Cyber “Have you found something out?” Maggie peered at me from over the rim of her glasses. She looked tired, older, but still a hell of a lot better than she had when I had seen her in the hospital. It was good she was home and resting. Iris was obviously taking good care of her. My eyes scanned the comfortable living room. Maggie gave an awkward smile as she stepped inside, setting down the large bags of gifts in her hands. “I know you don’t lack anything, but this is just a little token from us. With Louis being ill, this is actually my first time visiting. Please forgive me.” Adora replied politely, “It’s alright. He needs peace and quiet to recover, so we’ve turned down many visits.” Seeing the breakfast still on the table, Maggie grew even more uneasy. “Oh… I’ve disturbed your meal. Don’t mind me, finish eating first. We can talk after.”

A loud crash echoed as all eyes were on Logan who seemed to be slammed into the side of the house by Ryder’s intense attack. “I swear to the moon goddess, that better be an earthquake instead of my house being destroyed again” Gary said as he walked out - his eyes grew wide with shock “Holy fuck what is that?” he said jumping back a step. “That would be Logan and Ryder, duking out their issues” Henry said letting out a hearty laugh.
