Rose’s objective was to master at least a few high tier magic for the upcoming fight. She asked running her finger along the line of his scar. “You don’t have Healers where you’re from?” He asked and she shook her head. “What are they?” “Magi, well sort of, they channel a special Magic.” “Oh. And they healed it just like that?” “Just like that.” He said smiling before leaning into kiss her. She kissed him back, slowly at first and then harder, more urgently. “Let’s go to bed. Not that I suspect we’ll be sleeping that much…” He said and she laughed as he swept her up carried her into his bedroom.

And that’s when i realized the remaining pages had been ripped out. A growl rose in my chest the second it sank in, and before I could stop myself, I grabbed the book and hurled it across the room.

Maggi was lying on the ground gasping for breath, she had a wound on the right side of her chest. I ran to her and knelt down beside her. “Are you okay Maggi?” I asked shaking her a bit. “What happened to you?
