Rita The Great Hall of Blackthorn Academy hummed with energy, the air thick with the mingling scents of magic, fur, and something faintly metallic—vampires. Rita stood among the crowd of new students, her gaze flickering over the sea of faces. The woman at the front—Alice—was undoubtedly a witch. Her arms jingled with beaded bracelets, her neck adorned with layered necklaces, each one humming with protective charms. "Junior students will be housed in eight-person dormitories," Alice announced, her voice smooth as honey. "Upperclassmen share four-person suites, and our pre-college foundational year students enjoy private studios."

It’s said to cry only when the veil between worlds tears. I placed my hand on its cold iron. And triggered the academy’s fear with my powers. 🦋 CATALINA 🦋 It was a terrible first day at school, as if the dangerous city wasn't enough, I'm in a devilish academy. “How many people want to kill me now?” I thought, looking down at my fingers. Rook had let go for a brief moment when Mr. Matteo showed up for whatever reason, and I took the opportunity to flee. But, I'm so certain he will separate my neck from my body if we cross paths again, and I, with every strength in me, will avoid crossing paths with him even if I have to act like a mouse hiding from a cat that would tear it to shreds once caught.

A magical social feed opened like a twisted version of F******k. RonanDuskbane posted: “New moon training group meets at midnight. If you’re too slow, don’t bother showing up.” KaelithD posted a poll: “Who’s hotter: me, or me on fire?” Faculty Reminder: “Do not summon demons in the cafeteria again.” I sat back and let out a long, slow breath. After the dishes were picked up mom and I spent the next three hours going over some of the simple tasks one had to accomplish if he/she were to try to cast a spell...... on anyone. It was supposed to look abandoned to keep curious humans away but that never works, so the entire school is under a cloaking spell of some kind. I let out a defeated sigh and make sure my hoodie is pulled over my face, before trudging along the walkway into the academy. As I enter, my eyes catch sight of white and black feathers. Tears fill my eyes and my hand flies over my mouth to stifle a sob. Julie quickly rushes to comfort me. She puts her arms around me, careful to not touch my back. She shushes me quietly, and I try to stop the tears from escaping. "It's alright Luciana, everything will be fine—they’re just like you," she says in my ear. "No they're not, they have wings."

Samoa was a Thrasher, so he was strong enough to handle every Middle Class Magical Beast, and average High Class Magical Beasts. High Class Magical Beasts like the Giant Black Mamba were outside his capabilities.

I had a hunch I was connected to it, and it turns out I was the actual cause o

asked Britney. I linked my eyebrows, “What are you thinking about?” “Scholarship... yes the scholarship. Because the scholarship may give to students from Scarlet Moon,” said Britney. “Why are you confused? Kate is the mate of Terrence Gregory the only son of the owner of Miracle Academy,” Nina muttered. A few seconds later we heard a commotion from the table that was a few steps from our table.
