The boy is hunched over a screen in the backseat watching what I believe to be an anime by the bad voice over. I break my own rules by running a hand through my brown hair until its standing up every which way. After dinner, Arianne's parents retire into their room. While she wash the dishes and made sure that everything is secured and doors are locked. Then after, Arianne went up to her room. She don't have school the next day so she planned on spending her night eating junk food and watching Netflix. As she grab a piece of doughnut while watching the vampire diaries, her phone rings. She lazily get up and took her phone on the desk and answer it while keeping her eyes on the tv and munching the doughnut.

I flipped on one of the various streaming services Ari has, and picked a scary movie. I'm really in the fall mood, and I'm starting to miss Halloween. She said with a tone that made me want to look back at her. I finally tore my eyes from the screen, glaring at Vivien, but she only tilted her head, unbothered. “Dean,” she said sharply, “like I said, focus on us. On what we have. Arianna is gone now, never to return.” She got out of bed and came right in front of me, blocking the TV. “She doesn’t matter anymore. So why does it look like you still care?” Her eyes narrowed, studying me with a mixture of jealousy and warning, waiting for my response.

I could never forgive Alpha Deucalion; he doesn't deserve to be forgiven. I was soaked and cold. My body was trembling. I searched for a shelter. I found a cave. As I was about to enter, I heard someone coming. I dodge behind the cave and watch to see who it was. It was Jane, she was not alone she was with Alaric. "How are we going to tell Luna Salem about, Alpha Arkane?" Alaric stopped and asked Jane. She stood as well. "The truth," she retorted sadly. Worries swept over me. What was wrong with Arkane, I needed to know.

DEVONNE’S POV ARIAN seemed to be avoiding me all week, he didn’t show up at our training sessions, nothing, and short of going to knock on his door, I couldn’t find him anywhere. Funny considering he was always everywhere. But I hadn’t seen him since that day we went to the mall. I was just walking in the woods, going to that lake where I had shifted for the first time. Then the subject of my thoughts appeared. He looked awful, almost like he hadn’t slept all week. “Arian? You okay?”. When he looked at me, I almost gasped, his eyes were just blank and he just walked past me, not before I noticed his wrist though. I don’t know why it warmed my heart that he was wearing the watch I got him.

She gave him a small smile, gesturing for him to go ahead, and the five of us began heading for the stairs, but she stopped suddenly, turning to Cole, Finn, and I, shaking her head. "No," she said quietly, as she met my eyes, "You shouldn't be near when I inspect it. Just to be safe," she said, "the arcane sometimes does not react well to tampering." I frowned a little, caught off guard, but Cole placed a hand gently on my shoulder, "It's okay, I'll stay with you," he said softly, and Finn smiled at me warmly, "I'll keep an eye on them, just in case things go badly," he said, and I sighed softly.
