Violet bellowed as she bent down, grabbed the pure silver amulet I wore on my neck, and yanked it off forcefully. The silver chain left a bloody mark on my neck. The amulet was something Mom had begged for from a fortune teller up in the mountains last year on my birthday. She had to climb 399 steps to get there. She said the amulet was a good-luck charm that would keep me safe. "Don't touch my amulet!" I struggled to grab it back. Violet kicked me hard in the chest, knocking me over. She turned and shoved the amulet into Jackie's hands, who had recovered a little by now.

But, the thing that made the most obvious difference was [Magic Power]. Every Vampire or any creature has life energy. In Pure Vampires that energy is so overwhelming that it allows Pure Vampires to create, affect, and manipulate things natural and even supernatural. Magical energy is the strongest energy, it does not follow any laws, theories of physics, chemistry, or science. The properties of magic power depend on the pure vampire that carries it, which is of course mainly inherited from parents.
