Novel & Cerita Magical Abilities

Pure instinct took over my body, but instead of shifting I lifted my hand and magicked him to a complete stop. I gripped my fist tightly allowing the rage and despair of my heart to overcome me. With a thrust of my fist, his eyes bulged and his face went red. Without another sound, the man dropped to his knees. Dead. I stared at my hand for a moment in complete and utter shock. I had never killed anyone using my abilities like that before. Until now, I only knew how to heal with my magic. My capability to turn into a wolf wasn't the only thing that had been unlocked. Now, both the wolf and the magical side of me were harmonizing in my body, making me more powerful than I had been before.

I was eyeing the list we had made as it sat on the table: Crimson Wolves: Fire control Fire resistance Fire immunity Light Magic Shadow Magic Water Magic (Extremely rare, only one known person). Agility - Check Speed - Check Strength - Check Fae: Elemental magics Fire Water Earth Air Shadow Light Nature Healing Magic Second Sight Glamour Lie Detecting Invisibility Flight (Winged Fae) Shapeshifting (non-glamour) Clearly I would not be flying, as I had no wings and shapeshifting would have appeared long before I got Aramyth if that were a skill I had inherited from my mother’s genes.

Besides the typical super strength and speed, they have teleportation, mind control, mind reading, regeneration, and the ability to see future events. Some even had darker natured abilities like the ability to possess another individual, the ability to manipulate and destroy organic matter. As well as its counterpart ability that allowed for the manipulation and destruction of any non-organic matter. People with such abilities were very rare and could be extremely dangerous, so they were closely monitored and kept away from most anything they could use their powers on. There were also abilities like replication, the ability to create replicas of the person themself or other people and things

“Well, you’re the one who keeps pushing me so hard,” I teased, swinging my legs. As Edwin began to cook, stirring a pot on the stove, a thought occurred to me. “Hey, if I was the Silver Star... what sort of abilities might I have?” Edwin paused in his chopping, considering. The knife tapped thoughtfully against the cutting board. “Well, legends speak of various powers. The ability to control or read minds is one. Healing others is another.”

“Sorry.. how is that a good thing?” “Unlike a normal faerie, as you’ll know with Layke, my abilities stretch much further being of a royal bloodline. Whilst I have access to all the elements, fire is my core ability.” Belle began explaining. “Due to my werewolf side, and with Nia also being royal, my abilities don’t typically represent faerie magic.”

“So you have magic?” “Some enhanced abilities and powers, yes,” Felix admitted. “I have speed and strength unlike any human. I can summon my dragon through magic, and have shielding abilities against dragonfire. I can’t do magic spells or anything, those are skills usually reserved for witches. I do have a curse, though–” “A curse?”

However, even if someone has a mana core, without a functioning or intact magic circuit, they won't be able to use magic. Next is the innate talent or ability that individuals possess at birth. People in this world can use magic or acquire certain abilities due to the talent they are born with. This is often due to genetic connections, where individuals born in this world usually have abilities that are not far different from their parents', or they inherit one of the abilities from their parents.

"That's recent. Her hair used to be dark chestnut brown but it's faded over the years to a bright auburn red. She has a very strong fire element too, so it's very fitting." "I wonder where she got that from." August raised his eyebrows at me." I giggled, releasing some of the tension between us. "What about our other two girls?" "Maisie is a telepath or mind reader, and has shown signs of healing and clairvoyant abilities." "Margot can glamour or change her appearance at will, rendering herself intangible by walking through walls and manipulating light to turn invisible. "Melia not only has pyrokinesis abilities. She also has atmokinesis or the ability to manipulate the weather but she isn't

Each school has its own set of spells and techniques, allowing mages to specialize in a particular branch of magic or become versatile practitioners with a broad range of abilities. Mages are typically portrayed as intellectuals who rely on their intelligence, intuition, and extensive knowledge to cast spells and perform magical feats. They often spend years studying ancient texts, learning complex rituals, and mastering the intricacies of spellcasting. Mages are known for their ability to manipulate the fundamental forces of the universe, bending reality to their will through the use of incantations, gestures, and the power of their minds.

“I have powers.” She grabbed my hands, her touch warm and comforting. I lifted my gaze to meet her kind ones and I saw that her smile never left her lips. “You have powers,” she confirmed. “Beings with extra powers and abilities are known as witches. It’s rare for a witch to have more than one special power. Such as prophecy, telepathy, potions, curses, and spellcasting. But you, my daughter, were born with the abilities of all 3.” “What??” I gasped. “I… I don’t understand. How is that possible?”
