Novel & Cerita Magical Mishaps

I was thrilled by this new feeling called pain that I have never experienced. "Damn it,My eyes!My eyes! I can't see, damn it!I will kill you ,you filthy pig!". Felix kept on ranting and yelling as he pulled out the twig from his eyes.I saw a scissor on the floor. It must have fallen from my backpack when it's contents spilled on the floor. The scissors was not within my reach so I stretched out my hand trying to take it but my stomach ached from the earlier beating it has received.

My father continued to drone on about how important it was for me to pick a chosen mate at tonight's banquet. I wanted to shout at him and tell him that he wasn't the Alpha anymore, but I knew the rumors spreading around the pack were getting to him. Rumors that the moon goddess had cursed our family -- First, my father lost his mate to another, and now his son is seemingly mateless. While it was rare for a wolf to still be mateless by the time they turned twenty-five, it was unheard of for an Alpha wolf to be mateless. Alpha Wolves had the most exposure to other packs; we were more likely than any other wolf to meet their mate.

“Kicking every time the magic shifts.” It was then that the first real mishap occurred. Aria, in her excitement, tried to catch a particularly bright spark above the lake. The spark darted unpredictably, zipping between Arianna’s sketches and Arian’s gadgets. In one chaotic sweep, several small magical devices began to hum uncontrollably. Arianna gasped. “My calculations! They’re unstable!” Arian adjusted his glasses frantically. “Energy readings spiking! Probability of disaster… moderately high!”

Every story has a beginning, some good, some bad, mine has never been a happy one, no matter who, or how I tell it, nobody will believe me. I can't rely on the people in my life, My parents ignore me, or are cruel to me, my friends are unreliable, and aren't trustworthy either. I knew that she was still trying to accept the fact that I had done this, without a teacher. My heart raced by the way, with nervous anticipation as I concentrated, trying to follow Peter and Laura's lesson. I willed the table to descend with gentle grace. At first, it seemed to be working, the table seemed to be descending with utmost slowness. I smiled then at my quickness to absorb magic lessons. The smile slipped off my lips a few seconds later, slipped off the lips of my family, when I lost control of my magic. With a sudden lurch, the table plummeted to the floor with a resounding thud, sending food scattering and water spilling in all directions.

"No, the Magic never lies. We may not understand what it wants or why, but it never lies." "Your 'Magic' made a mistake," I contended. She laughed. "It doesn't have the ability to make a mistake. I can, you can, but Magic can't. It doesn't have the ability that would be classified as a mistake." "That is ridiculous!" I shouted. My terror was lashing out at anything she said, not wanting to believe her. It had made a mistake, or she had made a mistake. It honestly didn't matter, all that mattered was that a mistake was made, and I was the one that had to pay for it.

She knew damn well what was going to happen! "There's been an accident. Ashlynn broke her leg!" The guy wheezed out, with his hand on his chest. The dude needs to work on cardio. Looks like he's about to keel over from running up the mountain side... Maybe next time he can get a megaphone and just yell? And just like that, we are switching modes again. I'm not worried about the storm, it'll go out on its own. You wouldn't believe how many damn accidents happen in this area! You'd think that having magic would make us immune to stupidity... It doesn't. Like everywhere else, people do stupid things. Although I don't know the full story, I'm sure this could'a been avoided.

"He kept showing up when I felt worst. Said weird things about my energy." A beat of silence. Then Derek exhaled, shaking his head. "Energy draining is rare. Some call it ‘witch sickness.’ There’s no real cure, just… prevention." He abruptly changed the subject, pulling a book from the shelf. "This spell sharpens memory. Temporary, but useful before exams." As he leaned in to point out a passage, his shoulder brushed hers—and he froze. "Your magic," he murmured. "It feels… different." Rita forced a laugh. "Probably Pru’s amulet." She tapped the charm at her throat—a decoy.

Benson is alright, but I still haven’t forgiven him or Ellie for what they did to me. Just as I was aiming to shoot an arrow at a tree, the wall of Beta Academy exploded. While dodging the flying debris, I got hit on the head. A flying piece of debris. The impact made me stumble and left me feeling slightly disoriented. I shook my head to come to my senses. However, I thought I was hallucinating when I saw demonic creatures emerge from the hole in the wall. They crawl around a woman and a man, who I can only assume are Millicent and Marco.

“In an attempt to get me to disclose what you do not know.” I decided that I was in some sort of magical trap. In the hearth stories the Fae made such things condemning their victims to wander through endless hallways and corridors, chambers of mirrors or rooms where the doors all led back inside. I only hoped I was not condemned to this room of dark and light, with these shadowy figures for all eternity. No doubt Rivyn would have a clever spell to get himself out of such a thing. I stepped onto the dais. In the stories there were two outcomes to doing something which was clearly indicated that you should not; it would either break the spell or begin it. I hoped that because I was already in
