"What kind of special project?" "I can't talk about it yet. It's still in the planning stages. But if it works out, it could be my comeback. My redemption. Everything I've been working toward." “Hey girl, we’re throwing a welcome home party for you! You’ve been through so much lately, and we want to celebrate your comeback. You in?” At first, I hesitated. Charlotte I marched towards the stage and picked up the microphone. All the guests had their eyes fixed on me. “Good morning everyone. I believe I need no introduction.” I could see almost half of the party guests whispering into each other's ears. “Thank you all for coming to my welcome back home party organized by the Alpha, my ex-husband.” Calling Ashton my ex-husband felt so good for some reason. “How dare you come back here?” A masculine voice from the crowd yelled while making his way towards the front row.

“Why do you suddenly want to model again? Do you think anyone will hire you after the stunt you pulled yesterday?” There it is. The real him, slipping through the cracks. I almost smiled. Instead, I gave him the sweetest smile I could muster. “Honey, I already told you why I want a comeback. Think whatever you want, but I’m not changing my mind.” He let out a low sigh and rubbed the back of his neck. “Fine. Then we’ll do as you wish. I’ll have the contract ready within a week—” “No. I want it now.”

If you are looking for a way to get my attention, then this won't work'. Tears trickled down my cheeks, my grip tightened around the phone, and my jaw clenched tightly. I didn't know what was going on right now, and why I was seeing this day again after almost two years instead of being dead after the fire outbreak, but I guess it was for a reason.
