They all went home. Alex,when he got home, picked up the book he bought from the store, 'dark practices of magic'. As he opened the book and starts reading it, he begins to learn a lot from magic stances up to spells. For the stances, Alex loves it and even practiced some of it but for the spells, Alex find difficult to use. Each time he tries to cast a spell, he feels an opposite movement of power and the spell won't work. Alex told himself maybe spells casting is not his thing and keeps practicing. As Almond has told him, he has to be more powerful to take control as an alpha in this realm.

I punched three more times before it broke through. “There it is.” My eyes darkened with satisfaction. I grabbed the panel and slid it open. Inside were only two books. An ancient-looking tome, and a thick grimoire. I picked both up and quickly unlatched them before flipping through the pages with growing anticipation. Unlike the others, none of the pages were torn. I heaved a sigh of relief while a faint smile tugged at my lips. “Now, let’s see what you are,” I whispered. I scanned the titles carefully. The grimoire was titled Makisteia. The tome beneath it was Malkara Lyk — Vael Sorcery and Curse of the Wolves respectively.

Elias nodded and sprinted off. I stayed beside Selene, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “You’re stronger than this,” I muttered. “Come on, fight it.” Elias returned a moment later with the thick, ancient spellbook. Its leather cover was worn and pulsing faintly as if the spell was still active within it. He opened the book carefully and flipped through the pages until he found the right one. “There,” he said, pointing at the incantation written in crimson ink. “It’s a disappearance spell. Meant to send the victim to a limbo or a location chosen by the caster.”

I ask achingly “After the three days banquet with the king. That will be more than enough time to be able to get the strands of hair, right?” “Yeah, so do you have a dark art spell book for the altering of fated mates? Since dark art spell books are very limited editions and an individual is not permitted to have it, save for an institution or organization registered under the King's government.” I ask cautiously “Definitely Hermione, your grandmother got legs…” She grins, standing up “Give me a minute, I'll go get the dark art spell book vol.0 for you to see.” Grandmother walks to her room.

Epheba finally stopped when she got to a page. She carried the Grimoire and stood in front of Devon. "Please work" She muttered under her breath as tears escaped her eyes. Her eyes returned back to the book and sys started to the spell which was written on the page she had stopped in. Halfway through the spell a small wind came out of nowhere and it quickly escalated, the wind started to blow widely through the room. Epheba continued with the spell and didn't stop. "Sharta! Maltulra!" Epheba's voice became louder as she continued…

“Maelor gave me a book. He’s the warlock who used to stand at Arlo’s side. He says it contains counter-rituals. Spells that can disrupt what Arlo’s doing.” For the first time since leaving the study door, something like hope stirs in me. “Show me.” He leads me deeper into the forest, to a hollowed-out trunk where he’s stashed the tome. Its leather cover is cracked, edges fraying, but when he places it in my hands a strange energy thrums through the pages. Dark, but potent. “Maelor said this is our best chance,” Soren explains. “If we can identify the ritual Arlo is planning, we can break it before he completes it.”

In it, you’ll find all the spells you will need. You can also add to it as you find different spells that you like. That way, it will become yours.” “Thank you.” I ran my fingertips over the leather binding and raised gold letters when I noticed something. “Magenta, this has my name on it.”

Zayla snapped, pulling back. “You should’ve struggled harder to get away,” Maera whispered in her ear. “You should’ve made sure Lord Asher never found you. Since you failed, I’ll make your life miserable. I promise.” Zayla froze. Then Maera’s gaze fell to the book in Zayla’s arms. In a flash, she snatched it away, yanking it from Zayla’s grip. “Give it back!” Zayla shouted, panic rising. Maera tilted the book, reading the title. “Spell Book,” she said with a smirk. “I’ll keep this with me… for a while.”
