I took the bike and drove to his house as the blue lights flashed outside and Malcolm walked towards me.
“Alex,” he said to me. “It looks like an execution.”
“Who would want to execute him?” I asked more to myself as I stood outside his house.
“Two shots, one through each eye socket, nothing in the house is disturbed, no forced entry and so far no fingerprints other than Mark’s,” Malcolm said to me and I briefly closed my eyes. Damnit, Levi!
“Let me know what they find,” I said to Malcolm and got back on the bike. I drove to the fork in the road and stopped the bike and switched it off. I took my phone out and called Levi.
