A Little Bit of Joy

A Little Bit of Joy

She reluctantly tore her gaze from me with an apologetic smile and I laughed lightly. "Let's go, what are you waiting for?" I asked smugly and brushed past Logan who grumbled under his breath. God, I was going to miss Gemma when I was gone. "Do you think we can miss people after we die?" I asked subconsciously while striding and Logan gave me a lasting look before shrugging nonchalantly. "I mean, are we allowed to miss people in heaven or hell? Is there even heaven or hell? Will my spirit remember all these moments?"

My Father's Wish

My Father's Wish

, he said to himself as he walked his enormous potbelly back into his truck and drove off. She continued strolling the streets, wondering when she'll get to meet face to face with God. The people on the street didn't seem like angels; they had no wings, so they must also be inhabitants of heaven. She walked and walked, happy that she could walk, but eventually got tired as the sky started getting brighter and the day started to break, and so she decided to take a short nap on one of the benches in the park. She was equally surprised that one could feel tired or sleepy in heaven, but that was the way it was, and within a couple of minutes, she drifted off to Dreamland on one of the benches.

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

He took a deep breath and then he smiled. “When I came to this place, I felt it was a curse. It was my death sentence. I went here to punish my father… to punish myself. I lost the will to live, the will to fight. This was my hell.” He shook his head very gently. “I never thought I would find heaven here. It never occurred to me that I would meet an angel amidst all the anger and misery that I felt.”

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

Latent Memoirs

Latent Memoirs

The soft voice I had dispersed and the worse was my emotional pain. The memories I had with my parents keep bugging me. The time when they were still alive to give me hugs, kisses, and love. I miss them badly, I just wish they couldn't see me going through this kind of situation now that they were in heaven. I was surprised when a man of good heart suddenly entered. "Samantha, it's me Dr. Ashton. I was sent by Arrow to tend your wounds," he said removing the handcuffs from my hands. He's an angel sent from heaven, my savior. "Please wear this shirt. You need treatment immediately," he handed me a shirt that really smells like the monster.

Forever with the Billionaire

Forever with the Billionaire

He was as heavy as a large rock. I pushed the man off of me, and he landed beside me. "I saved someone!" I shouted, and I pointed to the sky. "Can you believe that universe? I saved someone! " I closed my eyes and muttered a prayer to God. Even though I had lost my father, I was happy that I had saved a man from ending his life.

Indebted To The Billionaire

Indebted To The Billionaire

I closed my eyes as everything faded away and my world turned black. Moments later, I felt like I was floating and I smiled, relishing the feeling of ascending into heaven. Suddenly I was put down, but it was somewhere softer than the ground. So this is what going to heaven feels like. I heard a male voice speaking but I couldn't catch what he was saying. Is that God speaking to me? Am I in heaven already?

The Devil’s Kryptonite

The Devil’s Kryptonite

"I understand the severity of these charges, and the implications of a guilty plea. However, I must assert my innocence due to lack of evidence and the nature of the charges. I do not deny that I have visited the human world, but I did so in order to protect humans from the dangers of the world and to help them in times of need. I have never committed any of the other crimes I am accused of, and I do not believe I have broken any of the heavenly rules. Furthermore, I do not believe that I have defied God. I have always respected and followed the laws of the divine, and I have never acted in a way that would be considered disrespectful. I do in fact take pride in bringing a war to Heaven, not

Revenge Against My Ex-Fiance

Revenge Against My Ex-Fiance

Her voice carried a bitter undertone, revealing the emotional scars left by the experience. Justin, moved by Jessica's recounting of a painful past, gently placed his hand on hers, offering a comforting gesture that conveyed both empathy and support. The genuine sympathy in his touch reflected the understanding of the difficult ordeal she had endured. Listening intently, Justin absorbed her next words, "My father eventually died. Even though my mother had said my dad went to heaven and that it was a better place, I saw heaven as a cruel place. How could it have taken my father from me when I needed him most?" Jessica's poignant reflection on her perception of heaven revealed the enduring emo

Enigmatic Resurrection

After finishing the whole piece, he spoke again, “Hmm, it is delicious. Thanks for this but I am the one who should be grateful to you, Rhea. You have not only saved my life but also helped me in restoring the peace between heaven and hell.” Mom was looking amazed, she asked curiously, “How did you know my name?” “Umm-hmm. I am an angel, I know everything,” dad replied with a smirk. Then after a little pause, clearing her throat, he continued with little hesitation, “Actually I haven’t come here for the shirt.
