His Nemesis, Her Heartbreak

His Nemesis, Her Heartbreak

They never left her feet—not even when she was forced to go into the pool for her lessons. Once I realized Margot’s true identity, I became suspicious of everything. I looked at the little girl in the socks and wondered: Who are you? Why did a woman like Lilah—a woman who helped destroy my mother—choose you? Margot looked like a saint, but she was a Vitale by association. She didn't get her hands dirty for no reason. So why did she adopt a strange, recessive Omega?

“Thank you.” They ordered their drinks and I felt slightly nervous. Margot wasn’t at all what I expected and I couldn’t fathom how they were friends. They were polar opposites but then again Billy and I didn’t come across as the same either. “You’re not what I expected.” I turned to look at Margot and she smiled nervously. “To be honest, neither are you.” She laughed lightly and we ordered the first course. Margot was nice to talk to and I learned that she was a graphic designer and worked from home. She asked a lot of questions of which I deflected the most. There wasn’t much to tell and I wasn’t keen on talking about my past.

But it wasn’t necessary. “Is she single? And may I know her full name?” Consecutive Jewish question. “Wow. Magnus moves,” Joseph grinning. I secretly glared at him. But the crazy seems to still enjoy the sarcasm. “She’s Tamara Palmer, and of course, Magnus, my friend is single,” Margot replied promptly. "Oh, I see," then turned to me. “You are single, huh?” he scoffed. "That's good to hear." I was devastated by what he was saying.

“If Hart took Ramon, then we find Hart.” She said it so directly. As if it were so simple. As though locating a missing former Navy SEAL was the easiest thing in the world. I rubbed my forehead. “How do we do that?” Margot’s smile appeared— small, but sharp. Dangerous when she was strategizing. The smile she always got right before destroying someone in court. “We make him uncomfortable.” Professor Grant groaned. I frowned, confused. “What does that mean?” Margot looked delighted. It was never a good sign when Margot looked delighted.

Author I'm really enjoying your story. I apologize for my bluntness with the reader who uses letters instead of actual words but I'm 'old school' where you say it up front and don't beat around the bush. I believe not using words but a bunch of nonsensical letters is rude and insulting !

DIVORCED BY THE BILLIONAIRE, DESIRED BY HIS RIVAL

And then he was gone, leaving me alone in a penthouse that felt more like a gilded cage than a sanctuary. +++++++ Margot arrived exactly one hour later with a team of three assistants and enough suitcases to outfit a small army. She was French, impossibly chic, and terrifyingly efficient. "Mon Dieu." She circled me like a predator, her sharp eyes cataloging every flaw. "You have been crying. For days, yes? I can see it in your skin, your eyes, your posture." She clapped her hands. "We fix it. Strip. Now." "I'm sorry, what.."

"Oh Yes, Daddy" (A Spicy Collection)

I love my dog because my life is honestly pretty boring. I’m Margot Morgan, age twenty-five year old with a boring job and a boring life. Broke and ready to fall into the hands of a sugar daddy who would take care of all my student loans and expand my failing nail business.

Ragnar was very pleased and asked, "Do you know if, among the people you brought back, there's a woman named Margot?" Ryan nodded. "Understood." "She is the Morris family's princess and Calvin's biological sister, Margot. You don't need to do anything right now; just keep them around for a few more days. During this time, find a way to make Margot like you," Ragnar instructed. As long as Ryan could win over Margot, then dealing with Calvin shouldn't be a problem. Ryan was very surprised. Among the people he brought back, was there someone who could be referred to as the Morris family's "princess"?

Won’t read the fact that it’s over 300 chapters and still going is insane. Sites like these should have a limit. Mind you someone posted a few weeks ago to clear up misunderstandings so the main couple still isn’t together? Nope

Hahaha... women who don't have any self respect I literally hate them.... I hate the writers who write such stories and plus what makes a man think he can treat a woman any way he likes? when he don't want her he will not accept her at any cost and push her to dead end. but when he want her she..

When Adalyn met Margot

When Adalyn met Margot

So I just keep quiet which is one of the tragic side effects of having opinions. I learnt that everything has two sides. Good and bad. It's some sort of mischievous bittersweet vicious cycle. It never stops, it is almost as if it all of forms part of a routine. To have expectations and be deprived of them or having low standards but ending up with the best result. While talking to Margot I realized that no matter what, good or bad, bittersweet or not, she would accept me for who I am. A character trait we barely find in people then and now. I've always questioned why. Why be so judgmental about other people's choices when it doesn't necessarily concern you. If it did, giving your opinion wou

The Rise Of The Betrayed Wife

Her voice was calm, almost pleasant infact, “I suppose this is what happens when you give someone an inch.” She turned her eyes to me then. They were cold, just like they always were when she looked at me. “Let me be very clear, Isla, since apparently you need things spelled out for you.” Margot tilted her head slightly. “You have nothing. You understand that, don't you? No money that isn't tied to this family. No education worth mentioning. No career, no connections, no future of your own making.” She paused, letting each word settle like stones dropping into still water. “You are mute. You are damaged. And the only man in this city willing to marry you is sitting right there at this table.

Margot Clementine is one of those characters who sneaks up on you in 'The Gilded Wolves'—she isn’t the flashiest, but she’s got this quiet strength that makes her unforgettable. As Enrique’s sister, she’s initially introduced through his protective lens, but she quickly proves she’s more than just a sidelined sibling. Her role in the story ties into the broader themes of legacy and power, especially with her family’s history in the Order of Babel. What I love about her is how she balances vulnerability with determination. She’s caught between expectations and her own desires, and that struggle feels so real.

Her interactions with the main crew, especially Zofia, add layers to the group dynamic. Margot isn’t just a plot device; she’s a window into the world’s injustices, like how women’s contributions are often erased. The way Roshani Chokshi writes her makes you root for her, even when she’s making messy choices. By the end of the book, I was low-key hoping she’d get more page time in the sequel.
