“What are you rambling about? I thought you were an older witch. Aren’t you supposed to know that demons are the strongest of all? Poor little Mar, she has no idea what she’s about to live in here. “It is. These people want everyone to be ‘equals’. Omegas, betas and alphas are treated the same,” I explain and keep on sorting through the boxes of weapons like the General ordered. All Alphas of Oceania tribe agreed; thereby, it is granted and should be sustained lest a cold war may catch fire.”

“Maybe it’s time someone did.” Maren stepped back like she’d been slapped. “What?” Julian walked to the door, baby carrier in one hand, bag over his shoulder. “Some names were made for fire, Maren. Not silence.” She stared at him, stunned. “Julian... what are you saying?” “I’m saying maybe we’ve been listening to the wrong Alpha.” Then he opened the door. But before either of them could speak again, a distant howl echoed from beyond the ridge—low, drawn-out, and wrong.

Byron looked at me and didn't move. “Gabe, I knotted. Get the doctor here now.” Shit. He was the Alpha of all Alphas. The king if you will. We pledged ourselves to him, we remained Alphas, but he was stronger, faster, and bigger than all wolves. No pack can run with more than one Alpha without one being the Alpha of all Alphas. We were the only pack in a thousand years to produce triplet Alphas. Twins were extremely rare for Alphas, triplets were incomprehensible to most of our kind.

Alpha handed Sophie our drinks, and walked to the table with his own. Sitting down we all read the menu to decide what we wanted to eat. I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat so I ordered the chef specials, so did Sophie and alpha, My appetite was insatiable. While waiting for my food to arrive i was drinking my coconut rum and cokes, I really didn't understand what the deal was with drinking was, the taste wasn't that great and it made my stomach churn, and I was beginning to feel nauseous.
