After I accidentally uploaded a rant post instead of my resignation letter, the messages went like this. Me: [Did you see the file I submitted?] He: [Mm… yeah. I saw it.] Me: [Then why didn't you reply? You don't approve?] He went quiet. I lost my patience and typed back, [If you're not saying anything, I'll take that as a yes. I'll come by your office this afternoon.] He replied almost instantly. [That fast?] Me: [Fast? How is that fast?] He: [I need some time to think.] Two seconds later, another message came in. [Is that okay?] I said yes. He ended up leaving work early and even gave the entire company three days off. Sitting at my desk, I thought about it for a long time. He was the owner of the company, yet there he was, acting like he was afraid I might leave. Was he really that desperate to keep me?

I should have known.” Teresa burst into laughter. “Mom, what's wrong?” Irene asked curiously. Teresa's grip on my hands was too tight. I tried to remove her hands but she pulled me back . “ Natasha Blake here is pregnant.” My eyes widened at Teresa's words. “WHAT!!” Irene growled. “Aunt…you..are.. mistaken.” I shook my head. I can't be pregnant, this is not supposed to happen to me not now!! “WHO IS THE FATHER!!” Teresa growled in annoyance. “I'm not…pregnant Aunt Teresa.” I tried to deny it. “You wench!!” Irene slapped me across the face. “I'm…saying…the truth.” I tried reasoning. “Fine.” Aunt Teresa stopped Irene from hitting me again. Natasha finds her mate on the mating ceremony day but is rejected and threatened. Fate seems to be playing tricks on her, and she gradually loses everything she has, but the moon goddess has left her a bigger surprise…….

Remember, we're married only on the papers." I somehow said as his intimidating personality loomed over me. I could hear our heartbeats. "I don't give a fuck to those papers, Valeria. You're my wife and the whole world must know this." Saying this, he buried his face in the crook of my neck and kissed there. Butterflies erupted in my stomach. He was off reach and forbidden.
