Mario interrupts her by putting one of her fingers on her lip. “Things are different with you little ones, you are spectacular and when I met you I had no idea that you were in a relationship with him, as far as I understood he had a wife and a daughter, both of whom died, so your journey through life was so short and basic, that no one knew of your presence” Mario's arrogance was already bothering her, however she had to stay comfortable to find out what she wanted.

But the girl had opened her big mouth to say, "I ain't going no boring place with ya. I'm perfectly fine with the stable life here." With the subtle chilly sensation surrounding her, Geneva opened the door. She refused to spare the bedroom a glance. Sitting rigidly on the sofa, she awaited her fate. "Let's get married now," the straightforward ghost said without a change in his features. "Nooooo. No, no, no, noooo!" She shouted, jumping from the sofa. She shook her hands and head to solidify her non-compliance. She wondered when the ghost had change back to his human form to intimidate her the more.

“Anyway, yeah, the couple who got lost during a trek. It’s said they died, and some people believe their ghosts still haunt that place. Especially at night.” Amara’s brows pulled together. “There’s nothing like ghosts in reality.” Mario shrugged. “I hope so.” For the rest of the journey, Mario kept her engaged with his easy conversation. And despite her reluctance to warm up to him, she did, finding herself listening, responding, even smiling. Yet through it all, she didn’t dare glance back, fully aware of the familiar, burning gaze searing into her spine.

For a moment, I forgot that Rosy was in danger and focused my mocking eyes on Mario’s ghostly face. “Are you scared?” I whispered, the sheer mockery louder than my words. “Does it matter?” he replied in a shaking voice. “Well, I’m not,” I chuckled and he looked at me, furrowing his brows in amusement. “That looks like a lie,” he replied and I grinned. We stood in the middle of nowhere, grinning and taunting each other till we heard heavy footsteps approach us. “Shhh…” Mario hushed, placing his finger over his small pale lips.

“When you do your thing what’s stopping the building from crushing you?” I looked at him past my shaking arms and huffed, “Guess it’s a good time to ask which of you is the fastest runner?” Caius looked at Ghost. “You can turn her incorporeal.” “I can’t do shit,” Ghost scoffed. He had removed his shirt awhile ago and was using it to mop the sweat off his body. “Don’t look at me like that, man. You know I’ve never turned anyone before. If I fail then we both die.”

Mario instructed moving him further to the middle of the bridge. “I wanna die, I can already see the ghosts, they are calling me from underneath. Please save my soul Mario and carry me. I can’t even feel my legs” He almost shed tears from all that whining. “No, be a man and walk through it” Mario proclaimed and he took a deep breath. “Ahhhhhhh” Cornelius screamed running through the bridge like he was scared for his dear life, he ran past Cane until he was on the other side, looking back at the effort he made he couldn’t help but scream in joy for succeeding.

It’s infuriating. “Why?” I snarl, leaning in close as I grab his bloodied face. “Why does Ghost keep interfering in our business? What’s his plan?” Marcello stares at me, his lips cracked and bloody. He doesn’t answer, just glares with a hatred that feels almost admirable. Eventually, his body gives out. No amount of morphine or care can pull him back this time. I step back, wiping the blood from my hands as I stare at what’s left of him—a mangled, broken shell of a man who refused to give me anything.

"You're not see through. Are we able to hit him?" He ignite a flame at his sleeve which easily caught on fire and the ghost is shrieking and waving his arm around before putting it off. "Yup, we can hit him." Kurai said then showed the cover picture with a disapproving shake. "By the way, did you seriously perv on her when you saw this pic? That's my mom, you perv." "Boys, we're on the same side." The ghost said. With each step back, it's another step forward for them. The male ghost started running and he is surprisingly a fast runner but the duo are not impressed as they are able to catch up to him.

Leo began. I eyed him sceptically. "You've mentioned that before." "Indeed, but there's more. Someone is controlling him," Leo continued, dropping a picture on my desk. It showed a shadowy figure draped in dark robes. "He is known as Ghost." Interest flared within me as I took up the image, scrutinizing the elusive figure. "Could this be the same man who visited Aurora's grave?" I pondered aloud. "The unique thing about this man is that he has no scent. I've spoken to people who've encountered him," Leo added.
