Crimson Moon: Shadows Of The Past

Crimson Moon: Shadows Of The Past

He was strong, fast and he was good at playing games, but no one would invite him to play with them, he was an outcast that no one wanted to play with. He was bored of having nothing to do everyday and no one to play with so one day he decided to see what was outside the barrier. The pack's beta was married to a witch, and she was responsible for setting this barrier around the pack's territory, the first thing that Mark was taught by his new father that no one was allowed to go outside of the barrier. It was there for their protection and if you went outside the barrier, you would be in danger from other creatures.

The Marked Lady

The Marked Lady

Both of us were soaked. Seeing that I had also been splashed, the villager hurried forward, intending to apologize. However, the moment he looked at me, he fell silent as he stared in shock. I paused for a moment before realizing something was wrong. My heart sank. Sure enough, Aldric’s gaze shifted back and forth between Rosalind and me. “The Princess’s mark on her forehead washed away with the water, but Lady Leanora’s makeup faded… and revealed a real birthmark! Lady Leanora… She is the true Chosen One!”

Marked by Fate

Marked by Fate

“But why? She’s so young.” Ailm lowers her head slightly. “War is coming. I can feel it in my bones. I had no choice.” Caden reaches for her again—but freezes. On his palm, a strange mark glows: a circle with a cross inside. Ailm nuzzles it. “It’s like a current,” he says, shocked. “It’s an Ailm mark,” she explains. “We are fated. Not just mates—fated. A rare, divine connection.” Drake stiffens. “Will Baylee wear the same mark?”

MARKED BY THE WRONG BROTHER

MARKED BY THE WRONG BROTHER

This one was crafted from matte black metal, the center inlaid with a single, highly polished piece of black onyx. She flipped it over. Engraved on the back, so fine she had to hold it up to the light, was a single, stylized mark: a perfect, unblinking wolf’s eye. It was a sign. A confirmation. A challenge. He was here. He had been waiting for her, or perhaps watching her, confirming his claim before Andre even had a chance. The stranger had left his brand on her bed. She tucked the cufflink deep into the pocket of her discarded robe. It felt hot, a forbidden, wicked secret burning through the clothes.

The Outcasts

The Outcasts

I suppose given time their colors would possibly show but until then I will attempt to believe that this Cyrus guy was decent. I set my apartment keys on the kitchen table and hoped that Jem wasn’t going to move them by morning. Why was my life so strange and complicated when it came to the paranormal shit? Why did this happen to me? Of all people, why me? I hardly had any friends to really enjoy a decent day with and when I told them about my ability to “See” the other side. They ended up never speaking to me ever again. It hurt but like all other things I moved on. I hated being alone in all this and not having somebody to talk to about these strange and weird situations. To have someone r

Marked for Betrayal

Marked for Betrayal

It was said they had been exiled long before even the Broker’s time, not for weakness, but for the way they used strength as sacrifice. Nova stood at my side, eyes on the scout, but her voice was calm. “I thought the Oryx were extinct.” I shook my head, crouching beside the boy’s body and brushing the blood from the mark scrawled into his palm. The symbol wasn’t ornate, but it pulsed with intention—three downward slashes and a horizontal scar crossing through them. It wasn’t a challenge. It was a claim. A debt called in.

Living with His Mark

Living with His Mark

She hasn’t moved, she just keeps looking up at me. My eyes dart down and make contact with the side of her neck. There, barely visible a mark, the mark that I placed there. King is howling in delight in my mind. My eyes quickly make their way back to hers to see them hardened, she swiftly turns away and heads out the door. The clearing of a throat is when I remember that there were other people in the room. “Your mark may not be gone but it is fading.” That mutt states and when he turns his collar moves and I see that mark on his neck. Did Olivia mark another male? King is thrashing around in my mind and my blood is boiling.

I wish I read this book before I read the 2nd book because the 2nd book isn't finished and hasn't been updated in awhile. If anything can go wrong in a story, it did in this book! The author had me glued to figure out how all these twists and turns were going to work themselves out. Must read!!

Marked By Hell

Marked By Hell

This was the world’s attempt to understand what it had failed to finish. “Unclean,” someone murmured. The word carried poorly. It thinned before it reached her fully. Another voice, lower: “Wrong.” Elizabeth did not turn. She felt the mark beneath her skin respond with a quiet steadiness. She was here. She was present. She was not asking to be forgiven. The village felt unreal now, like a place remembered rather than inhabited. She had been inside its fear too long to belong to it anymore. At the chapel door, Father Aldric stood speaking with Marta.

Marked By Fate

Marked By Fate

Each symbol pulsed with a strange energy, making my heart race as I whispered the words aloud, one by one, my voice low and careful. The syllables felt heavy, like they carried the weight of centuries, but when I finished, nothing happened. Just silence, thick and heavy, pressing down on the clearing.I shifted my weight, dirt crunching under my boots, and that’s when I saw it—right at my feet, half-hidden in the earth, a single marking, different from the rest. It was smaller, almost delicate, but it thrummed with a quiet power, like a heartbeat trapped in the ground.
